SUICIDE AWARENESS & MENTAL HEALTH EVENT SATURDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER 2009 3 minutes ago

PINK Kilkenny will join a large number of National & Local Organisations & Community Groups at a Suicide Awareness & Mental Health Event in the Atrium of McDonagh Junction Shopping Centre, Kilkenny, Saturday 12th September 2009 from 1pm - 5 pm

PINK will have a stall at the event highlighting the issue of Suicide & Mental Health Issues for the LGBT Community and will be distributing information packs produced by GLEN & Belong2.

PINK will also be advertising the community work they are doing in Kilkenny to promote Social Inclusion.

Lots of fringe events are planned on the day music, dance, alternative therapy treatments and demonstrations.

Please come along and visit the PINK Stall, " don't be shy and say hi "

Transgender BBQ in Serenity Wexford

TENI (Transgender Equality Network Ireland) are holding a BBQ on Sunday 9th August 2009 in Serenity BnB & Gay Retreat in Camolin Park, Camolin, Co Wexford.

This is intended to be a 'safe space' event, an opportunity for TENI members, family and friends to mingle and chat in the beautiful grounds of Serenity.

The event will run from 12 - 6 p.m. Tickets are €20 and available from TENI or €25 directly from Serenity. Beverages are on a Bring Your Own basis as Serenity do not have an alcohol license.

as from the 1st of may 2009 there is a new gay group in town working for the good of all gay, bi and transgendered people of wexford this group will be headed by me Eamonn Byrne who comes to you with vast experience on the gay world stage i have owned my own gay nightclub on the amstel in Amsterdam,on the committee of gay pride Amsterdam for six years founder member of drag pride Holland, and since coming home from Holland i have been involved with my passion for Ireland gay marriage. so that is just a taste of who i am i now wont to start a gay pride in wexford but while we organise this we should have a good time so come join us for the 1st of we hope many gay nights out at our all new OUT WEXFORD be there if you dare

Rainbow Support Services in Limerick support the LGBT Community of the Mid-West.

We're carrying out an on-line questionnaire for 13-25 yr olds. If you are from any part of Tipperary, Clare or Limerick we would love your input! You don't have to be still living in mid-west area.

It's to help us improve/provide services to these areas to support the lgbt community, ther families and friends
