O mnie

Ja, o mnie i jeszcze raz ja: Elderly (71), overeducated (BS, MS Electrical Engineering, Harvard MBA w/ High Distinction), retired independent management consultant and corporate executive, third marriage -- KiKi, Japanese, a good deal younger than me. Grandfather of 4. Lots of interests: construction (built my own 5BR home in Vermont), metalworking, writing, skiing, wines, international travel (3 trips round the world, 3 dozen or so nations), history, science, sci-fi, SuDoKu, sharing ideas, puzzles and word games, fine arts, and a bunch more. Rotary International -- Past District Governor, a moderately big deal in that crowd. ISPE (Intl. Society for Philosophical Enquiry, to 0.1% IQ society), past Intl. Treasurer. Own very fine Doberman, "Cronus", 8 years old and fine companion. Grow roses and do other gardening.

Music: Classical. Easy listening. 50s vocalists.
Films: Prefer dramas, history, Discovery Channel films, and cerebral comedies. Have a collection over 300 videos and DVDs -- good entertainment on long evenings in Vermont.
Sports: No interest at all in organized sports. Sometimes watch NASCAR and sports car racing.
Scared Of: Not so much. Great phobia about standing in high places, but no problem with flying.
Happiest When: With my wife. Also, talking/e-mailing with friends; writing; building things; visiting new places and cultures; working on service projects; giving advice.
