- Glasgow five piece, Black Arrows take to the road in April for a string of live dates to celebrate the release of their brand new single ‘Magpie.’ Currently earning a reputation as a phenomenal live act, the boy’s passion for their music is always at the forefront of their live sets.
Available to download at all major sites including Napster, itunes, hmv.co.uk and mtv.co.uk ‘Magpie’ is the debut single from the indie blues quintet and clearly demonstrates the Black Arrows talent for poignant lyrics with a bluesy undertone.
Over the past year, the band has been busy gathering an army of fans around the country with spots at Glasgow’s King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut and Liverpool’s famous Cavern Club along the way. Black Arrows have supported the likes of Dogs, The Paddingtons, The Law and Kid British as well as performing at Festivals including Live @ Loch Lomond, Stereofunk and Wickerman where they shared a stage with the likes of The Enemy and The Dykeenies.

Live @ Loch Lomond 2008
Black Arrows have had their stage time confirmed for this year’s Live @ Loch Lomond Festival. We played the Sunday Mail Box Stage last year and we have been placed higher on the bill this year (Magic). We hope to see you all on Saturday at 5.25pm at the Sunday Mail Box Stage to join The Arra’s for a good ole bounce…..

New Tracks
The Arrows have been in the studio recording the last few tracks for the album, making the Black Arrows album almost complete!
We've also been tweaking some of the other songs that's been recorded previously ( Magpie, Egotistic etc) as they've evolved slightly since the first time we were in the studio early last year.
New tunes will be posted as soon as we have the final mix back from the producer (Danny Mitchell). In the meantime we hope you enjoy the new 'Radio Edit' of Magpie.

Whats happened?!? Went to PJs on Thursday all set for the start of Fifefest and the Arra's and you weren't there? Jamie (from Beatnic) told me you'd split up? Surely not true! The news made me drink way to much and I was hungover for about 2 days lol!!! x
