Moogles - Moogles are small creatures, generally only a few feet tall with white fur, purple/red/pink wings, and a red "pom pom" - a red ball of fur on a wire - emerging from their heads, which they are very sensitive about being touched. Moogles generally resemble small mammals, but sometimes are simply balls of fluff with a pompom and little wings. Moogles didn't wear any form of clothing a few years back, but now they do, possibly to better fit in with humans. The favorite food of Moogles is the Kupo Nut.

Moogles are very intelligent and industrious, some are wary of human contact. There are times where Moogles do not mind humans,but they are known to maintain their own separate societies. Moogles are capable of communicating across long distances, a feat often attributed to the Moogle mail service, Mognet. Some Moogles speak only with their trademark cry "kupo", and variations of such. And other Moogles have been able to speak English normally, but often punctuate their sentences with "kupo", as a sort of verbal tic.Most Moogles act as vendors.

Bangaa -The Bangaa are a lizard-like race, dominant over all of Ivalice. They have long faces, scaly skin, and tough limbs. Due to all these factors, the Bangaa are considered the brute force of all the races in Ivalice. The Bangaa have both male and females, but it is impossible to tell the two apart, until they actually start talking.

While they do have lizard-like qualities, it is considered a racial slur and the worst insult to call a Bangaa a lizard. This is because of another race called the lizardmen, who are more primitive and violent than the Bangaa. However, some people will still refer to Bangaas as lizards, when none are around. Unlike true reptiles, Bangaa are capable of growing facial hair.

Aegyl-The Aegyl resemble Humes, except they have large wings on their back. These wings can come in different colours, from brown to red to black. These wings allow the Aegyl to fly with no problems. However, the strain they put on their body means they have the shortest life span of any race in Ivalice, only living for forty years.
All Aegyl are cold and aloof. They are either incapable at showing emotions, or don't feel them at all. This is due to their use of Auracite to summon the Yarhi and the repeating circle mentioned earlier that saps them of all of their anima.

The Aegyl are not too keen on other races, since most of the Sky Pirates who arrived attacked or enslaved them. This was also in part due to their leader Feolthanos and his dislike of all the other races.

Aegyl are mostly vegetarians, the majority of their diet being wild fruits and vegetables. The Damson, a plump red fruit that grows in the Bosco Pampa, appears to be their favorite. Aegyl harvest the waters of Lemurés for native fish, and eggs are also a part of their cuisine. However, other hunting sources are non-existant, as the Yarhi beasts that would normally yield meat are but illusions, and fade to nothing when killed.

Since the climate of Lemurés is mostly tropical, aegyl garb is light and geared for flight. Indeed, most aegyl males do not wear an upper garment, and aegyl armor is likewise sparsely distributed over the aegyl form. Aegyl jewlery is simplistic, being of lightweight gold and lacking in inlaid jewels. This absence of exquisite garments is yet another indication of aegyl humility.

Aegyl have been geared for war against the native Yarhi of Lemurés, all thanks to their god Feolthanos. All aegyl are Flying units, and they wield various metallic weapons geared for close-range combat. It is interesting to note that aegyl abilities seem to exclude Magicks common in Ivalice, such as Firaga or Cure. Instead, aegyl use their own unique powers to substitute for these effects, such as the Dragon Knight's Fire Breath and Dragonmend.
