hey bud thats crappy to hear they are doing that at school
if yr mum does find out it would be better coming from you, try to find out how she feels about gay guys/girls and gauge if she will be accepting.
At the end of the day she is yr mum, and will love you no matter what, if she say, what she did wrong, it was nothing, as you are you, and still her son, and love her and u for being u.
I hope that helps.
