- Born in Louisiana, the Bayou State, Robert has made his home in Ireland for almost a decade. He served his apprenticeship in Country Music since he first arrived here and is now one of the top Country artists in Ireland, his popularity spreading with extensive airplay in Europe and such distant territories as Australia. As anyone who ever attended a Robert Mizzell show will testify, Robert with his band The Country Kings put on an energy filled show. Brimming with Country flavour his shows appeal to audiences in Nashville and wherever Country Music is popular.
My latest album "The Louisiana Man - The Hits" along with my DVD "The Louisana Man".
My latest single is "Murder On Music Row" featuring the brilliant Collin Raye - taken from my forthcoming album "Redneck Man".

My DVD
Hello to all my friends here on Bebo. I'm really delighted with the great reaction to my new DVD "The Louisiana Man". It took a long time to come together but I think it was worth it in the end
It was filmed on location in America and Ireland, featuring local people from each area we filmed. Aside from the 15 tracks on the DVD there is also an outtakes section where you get to see some of the mistakes in the process of making the DVD. Also included is a 25 minute segment documenting our last trip to Nashville earlier this year.
The DVD is available in most record shops - if your local store doesn't stock it let us know and we;ll try to rectify the situation. Alternatively it may be bought online via our online store at www.robertmizzell.com
Thanks to everyone who has purchased the DVD and for all the great feedback I've received.

Single "You're Waltzing With Me" Hits #1 in Europe Charts!
Robert has once again topped the ECMA chart. This time he is not alone as it is his duet with Philomena Begley "You're Waltzing With Me". In one week it climbed from #2 to the coveted #1 slot.
This is not the first time Robert has topped the charts in Europe - infact he had another #1 hit with "You're Why God Made Me" in January 2008.
