  • Walsall chants/songs

To get a song added to this list type it below and a moderater will ass it to the list, please avoid using any swearing in chants, stars (*) should replace every let in a swear word, e.g Who the **** are you?' thanks.

  • Fox hands in transfer request

    RocK God by RocK God
League One rivals Leeds continued to cast a shadow over Walsall’s plans for the season by pinching loan midfielder Peter Sweeney today.

The promotion-chasing revival club are also hoping to prise away full back Daniel Fox before January is out.

But the loss of Sweeney is a big enough setback for Saddlers boss Richard Money to deal with for the time being.

The 23-year-old Scot, who has been an important figure in Walsall’s revival after falling out of favour at Stoke where he has not played for the first team since October, worked with Leeds boss Dennis Wise at Millwall.

His deal will go through when he passes a medical but Money accepted the midfielder’s departure as one of the game’s realities.

“The fact is that while I would have liked Peter to stay, he was never our player,” said Money.

I think this sucks leeds are just using all their money which is money they should be paying for being in amdin but arent cheating scum and using it to steal Players that have done fantastic for us and would of been a great signing had we got there first

    Fox hands in transfer request

Daniel Fox today hit Walsall with a written transfer request in another hammer blow to Saddlers manager Richard Money.

Money was already recovering from news that League One rivals Leeds have pinched loan midfielder Peter Sweeney in a permanent transfer from Stoke.

And he was rocked further this morning when Fox submitted a transfer request in writing, putting Leeds in pole position to land the 21-year-old full-back.

Leeds are hoping to prise away Fox before January is out, having already had a bid worth more than £250,000 turned down by Walsall.
