  • it's been a while

    hi all :D it's been a while
    i have been m.i.a
    sorry to all who've put in requests, comments, mail and haven't yet gotten a response
    to be completely honest, skin making became very time-consuming
    ... of what little time i had to begin with
    i'm a homeschooling mama of a 5 & 6 yr old, with a very active 8mth old thrown in the mix :D
    soooo, while i'll continue to make skins here and there, i'd like to open up a forum to help YOU guys make your own skins (if YOU even have the time?! :L )
    i'm going to open up a blog and/or live chat for anyone and everyone to ask questions, get some tips, secrets ;) etc etc
    how's that sound?
    i know many of you are missing the software needed (good ol' MS Paint just won't do the trick...)
    welllll, for starters, EVERYONE can try GIMP from http://www.gimp.org
    works just like the fancy stuff (photoshop, fireworks) without the hefty price tag
    freeware, costs $ZERO

  • skin albums

    wow, the admin on this thing is work! when do i get to do the fun stuff, like make skins?? :L

    well anyhoo, trying to organize everything a little better. got a boat load of images to skin, but first needed to figure out the best way to post them and make them available since I can only have 30 Favorites.

    I've started uploading the main backgroud images into albums (sorted by category as the album name). I will comment each pic with the link to preview/ "try it on" (if in my faves) OR the link to my site where they're all posted.

    hope this makes sense. and i hope you're all having a blessed day :D the Lord is good, amen?

  • poor image quality

    sorry for the poor image quality/ fuzziness in some skins, esp. text. i'm doing my best to optimize them in the programs i use, but bebo's resolution restrictions make it near impossible. if and when i do figure it out, i'll post version 2 or '.2' of some of those suffering from fuzzyitis :L
