Summer Shows Announced!!!!
Hey there everyone!!
I know that its been a loooong while since youve heard from me but Ive been busy ALRIGHT!! Sheesh get off my back!! Anyways We have some gigs lined up for the summer and hopefully there will be more exciting news in the next week or so regarding The Func Room but thats besides the point!! Here are some of the dates confirmed so far

This man needs no introduction. A legend here in Clifden with a guitar style that makes people weak in the knees!!

ODi is a new Irish female, singer songwriting talent originally from Ireland now based in Leeds. She performs regularly on both sides of the Irish Sea. So Finally The Func Room gets a "Ladies Night"....lame joke I know but a FAAAAAR from lame act!!

People kept asking me "HEY YOU!!! Who was that guy in The Func Room who was cracking jokes and singing songs with such intense and sometimes hilarious lyrics that It made me question myself as a human being!?!!?" and I said "That was Jimi Cullen"
He is back this time around to promote his new album and is definitely worth catching for the stage banter alone!!!
So thats about it!! there are more to be confirmed and support slots etc so stay tuned eager beavers

Next Show!! Danny Darcy February 8th!! FREE GIG!!! WOOHOO!!!
Hey there everyone!!
How is the New Year treating ye all?!?! Need to let off a little steam perhaps one weekend?? Unwind with a nice beer and a few good friends while listening to some beautiful music?? Well then The Func Room GOT YO BACK!!!!!
Im incredibly excited to announce the next show for The Func Room will be a very special acoustic show with Danny Darcy on the 8th February!! Not only was he nice enough to grace us with his presence but he wanted to START his Irish tour (which takes him to The Roisin Dubh & The Purty Loft in Dublin) right here in CLIFDEN!!!!
Danny is just about to release his brand new album "Building Churches" and let me tell you it is an absolutely beautiful affair which melds "Nick Drake" and "Chris Rea" into a superb almost tear inducing experience which will remind you of almost all your favourite memories at the same time!! Trust me he is going to be ALL over the place when this album lands so I would highly recommend catching him here while you can!!
As of yet the support act is unconfirmed but we will keep you posted!! Admission is free so you really have no excuse not to see this incredibly musician while you still can!!!

Func Room THIS FRIDAY NIGHT 25th January!!
hey there everyone!!!
After a Loooooooooong Xmas break, The Func Room is kicking off again this friday night!! It is also a birthday party for a young lady by the name of Maeve!! (Maeve Adrianna on bebo) She has been an avid supporter of The Func Room since its beginning and so to thank her we are bringing in DJ Sam Le Cam for the night to keep things funky and a little bit lively!! Who knows he may even do a strip tease...................... Then again maybe he wont!!?!
Anyways I really hope to see ye all there and let us kick off the new year in style!!
