- Anybody who knows me will know I say Neil Young is the greatest!!! I have the widest, wierdest and most wonderful taste in music. I like anything from Led Zeppelin to Antony and the Johnsons via Ray Lamontange, Alice in Chains and Rush!!! I play guitar myself so i, unlike alot of people, have learned to appreciate the talent and passion that goes into most of what I listen to. People who enjoy dance and modern pop music are musically deaf and don't have any rhythmic bones in their body... sorry but it's true.

- I'm a Coventry City FC fan. I know they are useless but my dad has always supported them and 1 fan would not be enough! Just u wait, we will see premier league football again... yeah jus u wait!!! I'm getting quite good at golf. I think with time i could give that guy Woods a run for his money! I was quite excited about beijing olympics 2008... i say excited but people who know me will know that i'm not the jump up and down and get excited kind of guy, more the laid back horizontal 'yeah' kind of guy... Also like snooker, pool, swimming... let's just say i actually love sports...

They don't have briefings here. Best just to arrange for a wee visit to a station and speak with some of the recent probationers. I found it useful to get their ideas.
Most questions are about what you have put on your application form, some are about diversity issues like policing everyone equally according to their needs and fairly. Keep looking on Police internet sites, now just Northerns because it is not really that great. Let me know if you get a date.

Lots of applicants but lots of jobs too. It does take a wee while for all the checks but you should hear sometime soon. I think you just have one interview now, is that correct? It's a hard job but a good one and you will enjoy it. I'm still loving it.
Let me know when you get an interview date and I will sort out a guided tour of Inverness station for you and can talk to you then and maybe introduce you to some newbies who have just come through the system. The more people you talk to who have just joined the better iea you will have.
