i feel recharged. ready for what may come my way these next few days. the sky was perfect. we struck poses under the moon glorifying constellations in adoration of concepts and reality. we reached towards the moon in its cradle, wanting to be anywhere but here. the stars stood still while airplanes tried unsuccessfully to convince me that there is any hope for mankind. algae covered rocks must have been placed there to remind me how we as humans will always have a tendancy to slip on concrete evidence of stability. but when we walk slowly, bent over, as victims of age we laugh, but get there safely. the ocean could put me to sleep, and it will be the death of us. one day, when it decides it's had too much, what's alive will react and we'll be but ants under a magnifying glass scrambling for our lives. scortching under the sun. one day peace won't just be a simulation brought on by enough sleep. one day, it will be real. and perfect.
for all that is perfect, is not manmade. all that is seen is unknown. all that is known must be questioned again and again until we're sure we've obtained the right answer, when the truth is: nothing was ever "right" to begin with

Oh wow, at Honolulu Community College or are you still over on Hawai'i Island? That's awesome to hear. I would really love to hang out with you and catch up. I have taken some time away from all my protesting and standing up for what is culturally right to do some teaching and make some money in the process.
It's a hawaiian immersion charter school, so I have been picking up all kinds of amazing language skills. I'm glad to hear that you are pursuing your passion for music.

I know it has been a long time.
Sorry I didn't get a chance to call you when I was on Oahu.
I was really busy doing some investigative journalism and also
doing some personal research on genealogy and land title.
Things are going really good. I am starting to get really busy this month.
Maori practice is picking up for our competition in August. Got a couple of hula workshops I am coordinating this month. So yeah been busy, but life is good. I hope to get to talk with you before too long. When do you head to Hawai'i island? I hope your music is still as inspiring as ever.
