If you do your study at school, you're going to be given the wrong information. Naturally, you live under a capitalist state which influences the schools cirriculum.

For example, you will be told - and I know this, because I was told the same in school - that the USSR was a communist state. There isn't a communist in the world who believes it was a communist state, and that includes me. Not least because the term "communist state" is an oxymoron, since communism is a stateless and egalitarian society.

The USSR was state-capitalist. I recommend researching that term. Anything you come across will explain why it's uncommunistic.

If you don't want corporations and advertisements, then you 'must' abandon capitalism, because it leads to those things. I'm not an anarchist, I'm a communist, but libertarian socialism is the only way to remove these things. Capitalism ultimately leads to corporate hierarchy and lack of democracy by definition.

You still misunderstand communism. You have to research what it 'actually' is, not what you 'think' it is.

You also have to understand that you don't live in a democracy. Your society is dominated by corporations. Communist societies are libertarian ones, unlike the USSR.

Ok, mabye I was being a bit brief on Communism. I was going to say more, but I couldnt be assed. I would have went on about Facism, religious extremists, etc. What I was meaning to say, in brief, is that it is unlikely that there is going to be any kind of political ideas such as anarchy or any kind of freedom-imprisoning societys that will beat the kind of democratic system that we already have.
