Welcome to the biggest Fernando Alonso Fan Club on Bebo. This is a site where all Alonso fans can talk about everything Alonso. Please leave comments after Practice, Qually, and The Race, giving your Views.
To all the stupid Hamilton fans that come on here. Has Hamilton won two World Titles? Has Hamilton beaten the legend, Schumacher, to two World Titles ? Has Hamilton brought a country load of fans into F1 ? No I didn't think so... Hamilton doesn't even come close to Fernando. So leave the smarmy, smug comments out: We are loyal Alonso fans.
2008 was a quallity season. Alonso out-drove the R28 & Showed his true talent, winning in Singapore & Japan, he really is pure class. 2009 is going to be an interesting season. Alonso's 3rd title? Nobody would be silly enough to write that off!
"I have reached my goal, my target for my whole life, my dream. I am the best in Formula One..."

Fernando's Motorsport Life So Far.
Karting
Alonso started karting at the age of 3. He won 4 back-to-back Spanish Championhips between 1993 and 1996 and the Junior World Cup in 1996. He won the Spanish and Italian Inter-A titles in 1997 and in 1998 won the Spanish Inter-A title again as well as finishing second in the European Championship.
Euro Open MoviStar by Nissan
Former Minardi F1 driver Adrián Campos gave Alonso his first test in a race car in October 1998. After three days of testing at the Albacete circuit, Alonso had matched the lap times of Campos' previous driver Marc Gené. So Campos Signed Alonso For The Euro Open MoviStar. Alonso took the championship by one point from championship rival Manuel Giao by winning and setting fastest lap at the last race of the season.
Formula 3000
joined Team Astromega and was the youngest driver in the series that year by eleven months. Alonso didn't score a point until the seventh race of the year, but in the final two rounds he took a second place and a victory, enough for him to end the season fourth overall behind Bruno Junqueira, Nicolas Minassian and Mark Webber
Minardi - 2001
Alonso was the third-youngest driver ever to start a F1 race when he made his debut with Minardi at the 2001 Australian Grand Prix. The team was in its first season under the control of new owner Paul Stoddart and their new car, the PS01, was neither fast nor reliable. However Alonso's qualifying performance was good, at his first race he out-qualified team mate Tarso Marques by 2.6s. At the fourth round at Imola he outqualified both of the Benettons, a feat he repeated later in the season.
Renault - 2002 - 2006
Alonso joined Renault in 2002 as a test driver but in 2003 he was promoted to a driver for the team. He won his first race that year in Hungary! At the Brazilian GP in 2003 he survived a 180mph crash after hitting some debris left by Mark Webber's earlier collision. In 2005 and 2006 Alonso and Renault had two amazing season coming away with 2 Drivers World Championships and 2 Constructers World Championships!!! This made Alonso the Youngest Ever World Champion and Youngest Ever Bi-Champion!!!
Mclaren 2007
In 2007 Alonso moved to McLaren for a $100m contract over 3 years. But as the season progressed tensions rose between Alonso, Mclaren and teamate lewis hamilton. Alonso was not treated fairly and hamilton was given the advantage during the season forcing Alonso to make his decision at the end of the 2007 Formula 1 season to leave McLaren!
Renault 2008
Fernando returned to Renault for his second spell at the team. Alonso was number 1 driver and he sowed us all his talent which won him world championships. He got 1st in Singapore, 1st in Japan and 2nd In Brazil. Fernando out drove the car and was truly driver of the season.

Alonso no1 Keep the everyone if you look at Schumacher and Fernandos careers there taking very similar paths both won 2 titles early on and went through the bad phase thats wats happenin 2 Alonso at the present time but then Schumacher came back and destroyed everyone when he found his feet at Ferrari Think about it everyone
-
Russ7/28/09Well with it looking increasingly unlikely Massa wont race again this year or possibly not again if the eye injury is too serious praying that Massa drives again Alonso maybe in the Ferrari at some point this season as a Massa replacement because Alonso has the clause in his contract saying he can walk if he isnt 3rd or higher in the drivers title and maybe the Sunday saga will tempt him

After i have now calmed down i believe my words yesterday were inexcusable just the raw emotion of everything took over yes Renault were in the wrong to not inform or tell Fernando about his wheel taking it out on the team i loved and supported since 2001 when they were Benetton but hopefully thr FIA realise the stupidity of the punishmentthere giving and Renault win the appeal becasue Valencia now will be more empty than Turkey if Alonso isnt there Just do the right thing and give is a hefty fine Alonso No1 Whereever you may be in 2010 Renault or ferrari Keep the faith and stand by Alonso through bad good and damn write bad luck

Fernando Alonso Fan Club ™7/27/09What a weekend, pole pulling away from the pack at about .7 seconds per lap and then graining of the tyres, fuel pump problem and a front right tyre coming off
. even though it ended up in fernando not finishing the race i really feel renault have finally found pace and i believe if we get a good starting posistion on the grid that fernando could challenge for 4th 5th 6th & perhaps even 3rd if luck comes his way. i am apsoluetely disgraced for the ban given to renault, yes i understand it was a massive hazzard and but drivers and spectators lifes in danger but surely to make fernando miss his home grand prix its to harsh, if it was hamilton getting banned for the british GP then all of his fans would go mental and it wouldnt happen, i think a massive fine or points reduction would have been understandabul. get better soon massa !

First of all Congrats to Alonso for getting Pole i'm not a great fan of Alonso but he is just awesome and deserves to be back at the front, And he drove a good race but was seriously unlucky due to the Wheel coming off, Whether Renault deserve to be barred next race... Another matter, I hope they can race for the sake of the crowd, a lot of spanish people are turning up to Valencia to see their man, and they can't. I think a fine should of been enough in my view. I'd love to see him in a ferrari next year but Its his choice whether he wants to go Ferrari or stay at Renault.

What the fuck are Renault playin at not stoppin Alonso leavin the pit lane or informing him about it did nothing fuking register in there heads if Alonso hadnt have realised in could be where Massa is now if Renault wanna keep Alonso they got a fuckin funny way of showin it banned for a race now and Alonso will never his pit crew again fuckin dicks Alonso no1 Forza Fernando

Fuckkkkkkkkkkinnnnng gettttt in theeeeeeeeerrrrrre P1 Long time coming
Screamed my house down Got 13 laps of fuel with the car weight 637.5 but hey we need Hamilton to take both Red Bulls and fuck up there afternoon but we all know Alonso can do those metronomic stints pulling out 1.21 to a 1.20 for the 1st 13 laps need to build at least a 9 or 10 second advantage and that will be hard coz Red Bulls are 7 and 9 laps heavier but if theres a safety car im gunna go ballistic i swear Alonso bring it home Kept the faith Get the rewards Alonso NO1

Well today i saw a Fernando Alonso that i havent seen since Japan last year absolutely awesome the man is magical what a race from him shame about the qualifying which scuppered getting a better result but looks promising for Hungary and Belgium Alonso #1

I love Alonso, huge fan of his always and nothing can ever make me change my mind, pains me to see him so far down the grid.
