Viewing the timeline

Clicking on the magnifying glass will enable the zoom function. The "-" button shows events in a longer time period, while the "+" shortens the viewable time period.

This indicates a photo album.

Clicking on "Create Event" allows you to add a quick event to your timeline.

There are 3 more events to see. Click on the arrow to move back in time.

There are 2 more events to see. Click on the arrow to move forward in time.

This indicates a quick event.

Try It Out Yourself!

Create a title for your event. Keep it short and simple.

Include a description which will be visible in the detailed view (optional).

By default, this will be today's date but you can set the date manually by clicking on the calendar icon. The date you choose will determine whether the event is positioned in the past, present or future on the timeline.

Adding a photo to your event - part 1

Try It Out Yourself!

After clicking "Add Photo", you will be presented with a thumbnail view of all your albums on Bebo. Click on any album to see what's in it. Make sure you have uploaded photos to your album before trying to add them to the timeline.

Click on "Add Photo" to add a photo to your entry. Only one photo per entry is possible.

Click on the photo you want to add to your entry.

Once you have chosen your photo, click "OK."

After submitting the quick entry, it will show up in your timeline immediately.

You can edit or delete your entry from here.

You can change the title, description, link, date and photo in your entry any time.

Welcome to the Bebo LifeStory tutorial profile.

Bebo is pleased to bring you a new profile experience! Don't worry - you still have all the great features that you know and love but now we’ve introduced a LifeStory to bring together everything that’s great about you. LifeStory is optional, so you can hide it, but we think it’s a great way to share the important moments in your life with all your friends. Show off your photo albums, videos and use 'quick events' to let everyone know about your birthday shindig or remind them that The Fray are coming to town next month so they should get tickets quick!

The best part about LifeStory is that it's really easy to create as all your photo albums, uploaded videos, twitters and more will show up automatically. With LifeStory you can 'grab and slide' to scroll backwards and forwards in time or zoom in and out so you're always in the know.
