O mnie

Ja, o mnie i jeszcze raz ja
You want Guantánamo closed? This is your chance to join a movement of people who feel the same way.

People who think that the US detention centre at Guantánamo is a symbol of injustice and abuse and it should be closed.

It is nearly six years since the first detainees were transferred to Guantánamo. Hundreds are still there: without charge, and with little hope of obtaining a fair trial.

Do something about it: Join this group and watch this space for news and opportunities for action.

Then please take action by calling to parliamentarians to end US illegal detention here:

As a result of this, individuals continue being held in secret without any legal remedy or trial. Read more: http://www.irinnews.org/report.aspx?...

  • One year of the Military Commissions Act

    Hello everyone,

Its now one year since the Military Commission Act was signed into law by US President George Bush. This Act virtually denies detainees any legal protection under international law. Most importantly, detainees are denied the right to challenge their detention via habeas corpus.

Check out more on this page: http://web.amnesty.org/pages/stoptor...

The US Government also tries to evade international law by calling Guantanamo detainees as 'Enemy Combatants'. We want to put an end to this injustice and urge you to join our flotilla to do the same.
