I recently went on a pro-anorexia website to see how bad it was and was shocked at what I found. I've decided to publish some of these things in my blog to make people aware of how far some girls are willing too go to be thin.
These are some comments left on the forum:

okay so today i was supposed to start my 4 day fast bt tht didnt work out...had lunch with my gran and my sister! kinda watching me closely but luckily i managed to stick to the steamed veg! but i am soooo like determined to loose weight, i hate going through the pictures of parties with my mates and seeing a fat cow! and dreadin looking at myself. i hate it, i just want people to want to be me
like at breakfasts il eat a pear, then lunch i wont have anything....then at dinner if i make myself only eat 1/3 of my plate- the healthy part then go for a 2 mile run each day....how much weight do you think i will loose in a week?? im hoping for 4 pounds more or less.

I don't care what it takes, I'm GOING to lose at least half a stone by the end of half term. (2 weeks away). I know that in a few days I'm going to be thinking about giving up, but I won't let myself anymore. I'm just going to act like I'm not me for a while, so then I'll feel like I'm just controlling some one else, playing a game. I'll be happier after a fortnight. I can't wait. Here's my plan:
Breakfast - Nothing
Lunch - Nothing
Tea - Try to go out = Nothing
If I eat something = Purge
Take laxatives alot. And I will NOT fail this time. Tomorrow is a new start and I'm not going to give up. No way. I just can't wait to be thin..

I'm getting so insanely fat and disgusting today i already ate special k a necatrine an apple and grapes i feel so insanely disgusting my stomach feels bloated and gross and i feel like my weight is going up by the second!!! please help me what can i do to lose weight quickly so that i won't feel this way! i heard about that salt flush but does it work with kosher salt? help help help i'm getting so huge!!!

That last one really got to me as there was a pic with the comment and the girl was so thin her bones stuck out.
Here are some tips to girls to lose even more weight:

• When you feel you need to eat, list the reasons why it's not such a good idea, by then you'll most likely lose the craving, and you'll have convincing reasons not to eat.

Whenever you get hungry, think of all the people who made fun of you when you were fat.

Exercise until you think your goin to pass out then drink a small glass of whater and continue.

Find a pic of the skinniest person you can find and carry it with you to look at when you feel like eating.

From these comments im sure you can see how extreme the methods are to losing weight on pro-ana websites. please comment on this blog and tell people about to spread the word about websites that are pushing people to obsession with losing weight
