Recession Musicians
Last week I fulfilled a personal ambition of mine when I saw our first single in Oxfam Music for 99p. As someone who has spent a lot of time flicking through vinyl from second hand shops it was a momentous occasion for me and I genuinely felt a strange sense of accomplishment. Not since I saw it advertised on a website between Isaac Hayes and James Brown had it entertained me so much. Then tonight, as I was watching MTV, I saw an advert which uses the A-Side from the single... Even though I knew it had been made, it still came as a surprise. I turned the TV off and for a few minutes sat there bemused, in what seemed like a deafening silence. Which is an oxymoron.

Gigs gone
We had to cancel a few of the gigs for a variety of excitingly mundane reasons.... apologies to anyone affected, we should be getting other dates sorted soon!
In other news, we had an amazing time in Venice, playing a gig beside Scotland's first exhibit for the International Architecture Exhibition. I have never seen people dance to architecture so it was a special moment for me. Even though I broke my bass drum on the third tune! Thankfully we found a way to soldier on....
I was also in Iceland to watch Scotland playing the foot ball & while out there I personally secured a 1 CD distribution deal for Isosceles.
It's hidden under a bench beside a statue.
We're currently working on our third single, hopefully due out around November - in the meantime you can hear a couple of demos we've done so far on this very page.
