Currenly vocalist of the visual kei band 'D'', which, just this year in March, signed up to major labels 'Smile Company' and 'Avex Trax' and launched into the major arena with their debut single 'Birth'. Their current single 'Yami No Kuni no Alice' has peaked #7 on the Oricon charts.

ASAGI has been credited by many fans for his exceptional vocal range, unique personality, and the hard work that he puts into his band; not only does he sing, but he is the main composer of much of the music and also writer of the lyrics. He is also the main producer of D's magazine 'Mad Tea Party'.

ASAGI first launched his musical career at 16 years old. Bands that he has previously been featured in have been 胡蝶, Balsamic, JE*REVIENS and Syndrome. In 2006 he made a start on his solo career, with the single 'Corvinus', and also a fragrance of the same name.
