- amy winehouse and mark ronson been making plans to start recording the singer's follow-up to the massively successful 'Back To Black'.
The producer explained that Winehouse is "dying to go back into the studio", but that they won't be able to start work on the record until after the end of her tour in November.
Speculating on what the new album may sound like, Ronson told Rolling Stone they may be looking to infamous producer Phil Spector's 'Wall Of Sound' technique for inspiration.
He said: "I think that we can't do the same thing again - it can't be like a 60s element or Motown. If anything, I'd really like to make it sound older or more morbid or really 'Wall Of Sound'. But I don't want to second guess before I actually hear the songs.

AMY WINEHOUSE's father has sparked fears for his health after reportedly collapsing at his London home from a mystery illness - the second time in as many months.
Mitch Winehouse allegedly keeled over in pain on Wednesday (06Aug0 , just weeks after he was forced to undergo medical tests following a fall at the start of July (0 .
His health scare was partially blamed on the stress of taking care of his troubled daughter, whose wayward lifestyle has caused him to suffer panic attacks.
It is unknown what provoked the cab driver's latest collapse, and no further details were available as WENN went to press.

Welsh singer DUFFY is troubled by comparisons to British star AMY WINEHOUSE and soul singer DUSTY SPRINGFIELD - because she thinks it belittles her own hard work.
The Mercy hitmaker is constantly being compared to the two other singers but insists she wants to be recognised for her own sound.
She says, "It makes me mad that people keep comparing me to Amy Winehouse and Dusty Springfield. It's just labelling me as something else, without any respect for the struggle, the determination, focus or artistic vision I have.
"It's like, 'Whoa, what's that about? Why would I want to be someone else?' Because I really don't. I just want to be me."
But the 24-year-old has no problems being compared to her own musical icons.
She adds, "I got compared to Diana Ross the other day, which was a real compliment. And someone also wrote that I was the female Otis Redding, which made me feel good because he's a hero of mine."
AMY WINEHOUSE's jailed husband BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL is to be moved to a prison outside of London amid fears for his safety.
Fielder-Civil is currently serving a 27-month sentence in the British capital's Pentonville Prison after being convicted on charges of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and perverting the course of justice. The charges stem from a 2006 assault on a London pub landlord.
But according to U.K. tabloid reports, the 26-year-old - who has been seeking counselling from support group the Samaritans - will be transferred to a jail in Suffolk in the English countryside this weekend (02-03Aug0 , after begging prison officials for the move because he felt suicidal.
This comes just days after Fielder-Civil reportedly broke down in tears in his cell, screaming, "Why me?", and tearing down photos of his famous wife.
Meanwhile, the Rehab hitmaker is said to have begun househunting in the Suffolk area to be near her troubled spouse when he is transferred.
SEX PISTOLS frontman JOHN LYDON has hit out at troubled soul singer AMY WINEHOUSE - accusing her of turning to drugs and alcohol to disguise her "lack of talent".
The punk legend has criticised the singer's Grammy Award-winning 2006 album Back To Black - branding her style of music "idiotic".
He tells Scottish newspaper the Daily Record, "Poor old Amy. Aimless Winehouse would be a better term. I love all kinds of music but the one thing I have never done is imitate black music in her idiotic way.
"There's not a single word that means anything. It's not like these songs are deeply moving or inspirational or cultural in any way you could find useful."
And Lydon puts Winehouse's ongoing struggle with her addictions down to her alleged musical failings.

Mitch Winehouse confirmed that his daughter has a "small amount" of emphysema in her lungs, which will always be there.
"I want people to understand, even if they give her one cigarette they're causing her harm," he said.
"She has got a serious health problem. My biggest fear is that she would die and she won't die from an overdose, she will die from emphysema.
"We would be talking about a very slow and painful death, gasping for air. I would like to say to anybody who would supply her with substances to think about that."
Mr Winehouse also revealed that his daughter is to quit performing live "for the forseeable future" so she can concentrate on resting her voice and writing her next album.
He added: "She has five gigs that she is contractually obliged to do between now and then, but from September 6th we're not going to be doing any more work. We want her to relax."
Amy's husband Blake Fielder-Civil remains in prison awaiting sentencing for grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice.
Her father says the family will give him the chance to sort out his problems when he gets out of jail.
Mr Winehouse added: "I don't think he is clean now, but he will go straight to rehab when he gets out.
"He has promised me that he will make things right when he is out. I'm going to give him the chance to do that. We will give him the benefit of the doubt. He has got to get himself clean.
"It's the last chance saloon if he comes out and they go back to what they were doing before. He's a fit young man and probably go on like that for years, but Amy can't and she needs to understand that."
When asked if the love story could have a happy ending, Mr Winehouse replied: "I'm quite old fashioned and I believe that love can conquer anything. I believe they can have a happy ending, I really do believe that."
