The Venue:
The Classic Grand houses two stunning spaces (250 and 550 capacity) host to some of the best live music in Glasgow, along with the best in the city club nights.

Downstairs is intimate, perfect for watching gigs up close & personal or hanging out comfortably to the wee small hours.

Upstairs is a dramatic space built for enjoying larger shows ranging from burlesque & comedy to big bands. This hall combines the best in sound from a state of the art PA courtesy of our skilled sound engineer Iain McCormack and an amazing light show from our talented light technician Kris Goodman. Again excellent for partying the night away at any of our best in the city club nights or relaxing in our V.I.P. bar.

Click is our newest club night @ the Classic Grand with themed nights ranging from foam and pool parties to pirate escapades. Keep your eyes peeled for our school disco party adventure on 29th September!
Thursday
Thursday night with DJs Barry, Dec & Young Blood providing a mix of rock, metal, industrial, and punk. They do this because the alternative is too hideous to contemplate. Drinks from £1.50. Doors 11pm; £3
Friday - DamnatioN
The boys bring rock to the club EVERY weekend kicking off with a Friday night. Presenting DJBarry & Div in the Grand Hall (upstairs) playing metal, industrial & rock and Dec and Young Blood will be in the Classic Hall (downstairs) catering to your punk, hardcore & emo side. BE independent!!

Saturday - AbsolutioN
The alternative alternative night & the biggest of its kind in Scotland with resident DJs Barry, Dec, Young Blood & Div. A night of metal mayhem and madskullery over two floors. We have Dec and Young Blood downstairs in the Classic Hall playing pop punk, emo, hardcore & ska and Barry and Div upstairs in the Grand Hall playing all your metal, industrial, rock & alternative tunes.

Sunday - Dischord
With young team duo Young Blood & Clewsy playing the widest selection of rock, metal, punk, hardcore and requests in the city.

  • TWO floors music tonight @ Classic Grand!

    Tonight, we have a double treat in store for all you rain weary people of Glasgow - TWO floors of action! Level 1 has the usual suspects Barry and Dec throwing out rock, metal, punk & industrial. Level 2 is hosted by DJ Marky Mark for a slice of 80s-tastic tunes with a movie theme. Doors 11pm; £3/FREE b4 12. Drinks @ £1.50 on both floors!

    Yeah off course u will say tht anything 2 keep the punters in.
    I enjoy all the stuff u play apart from emo and industrial tht really grinds my gears lol.
