It was one of those days where I awoke to find myself still in the early hours of the morning. It was confusing because I rarely see this time of day and on the bigger downside I wasn't able to get back to sleep.

Like most people a lot of things go threw my mind when im lying in bed, staring at the faded white emulsion paint on the ceiling. Things like why did I leave school and would my life have been better in the long run, if I followed the path the government had laid for me?

When feelings like these decide to astray from where they should stay, in your memories, they decide to pop back into your life when you feel you have come to a crossroads. This crossroad represents career, family, friends, relationships, future, present and past. I would ask myself questions like "Did I make the right decision?" or "Should I have listenend to my mother more?"

You never know the answers to these type of questions. Which always makes me more frustrated. I know it would have been better to stay on and go to uni. Unfortunately i didn't and yes i regret that. I can't go back in time and fix it, I just have to accpet it.

Ok, i didnt go to school all the time and yes I am in and out of jobs all the time. I dont live at home but yet i dont live on my own. Im not perfect looking and I dont spend hours grooming a perfect body. Does any of this make me less a person than anyone else? I always ask myself that. It's ridiculous but I do feel inadequate when im around people who have all been to uni or are still attending.

I mean thats a pretty ridiculous thing to think right? But its how I feel. Then again when I think to myself that im a good person at heart. I care about my family and friends. I would do anything for anybody if they asked. Im honest and genuine.

I've met some people and they've made me think, why did I think they where better than me?. They were ignorant and snobish. Looked down on me as if I was the missing link. Made remarks on me without even getting the chance to know me. But I was glad that I wasnt like them, even though they had their University degrees. Is that what defines us all. I mean where am I going with all this blog? Its simple.

Im not perfect, Neither are you.
What makes us different is what makes us unique.
Some of us go to uni and become lawyers,
Some of us rent a flat and work in starbucks.
I like boys and you like girls.
You bebo while I myspace.

As young people we face things like this in our lives everyday. Choices, decisions and regrets in our lives. This may be our past did I make the right decision in ditching school?
Should I have gave him another chance? Do I leave it all behind to follow this career? Am i ready to make a commitment?

Regardless of the decisions you make or have made, they are your Decisions! Nobody elses. If we all follow the same path and all make the same so called "right" decisions. What kind of diversity is that? It's better when we mix and have a flavour of personalities on our lives. Right? I know that i enjoy having everyone in my life because they are different and bring some of their experiences to my life that I can learn or share with them.

Everything happens for a reason i belive. So stop worrying and start enjoying that thing we call life. At times it wont be perfect but we somehow make it through.
