In recent light of the ever growing We ♥ Fort William club,it was requested by a high, established person to make an opposing club for all the people who do not ♥ Fort William.
There are many bad things about Fort William such as ;
Midges
The Cappercallie
Idle Gossips
People who abuse there authority , however small
Rain
There are no buses that go round Camaghael
There are no Street lights round Camaghael
There are a lack of things to do, especially for young people
There is nowhere to get a kebab after a night out
There is no Little Marcos or Marco Bear
These are just a few of the bad things that make me a member of We do not ♥ Fort William , i know everyone has there own so please feel free to vent your dis-appreciation,
i dont hate fort william nor do i love it, but i tend to say "I hate this shithole" & "Cant wait to get out of this town" as opposed to "I Love FW" & "Im going to stay in FW for ever"

The Online Petition to get Street Lights around Camaghael
I have lived in the beautiful are of Camaghael for almost 9 years. For anyone who has been lucky enough to take a stroll round my way at night you will agree that the scenery,wildlife and general happy feel of the place is second to none.
Until night falls and Camaghael falls into darkness.
Between the ages of 13-19 i estimate i have walked round Camgahel about 7800 times in the Dark. As i grew older i became accustomed to the darkness and accept that the was the way it was. For a young lad it was very very scary and i felt unsafe, always looking over my shoulder. Imagine i wasnt a young boy but a young girl instead, the unsafe factor multiplies by 1000.
Camaghael is home to many young children these days and more will follow. It is about time something was done to give the children a safe way home,to give the 1000s of tourist who visit the long and winding road and to give people out for a relaxing stroll some much needed light. In this day in age why should people have to walk in the dark with nothing but moonlight for aid.....

"1 reason i dislike Fort William is that there is nothing for young people to do at weekends. During the msot important years of my life 14-18, a time when you have to mature and grasp the way life is , i found myself getting pissed and smoking cigaretes in an obsquere location such as under a bridge, in a spectators stand or down the legendary "rocks".

Actually I did have to walk around Camaghael in the pitch dark as a twelve year old and it was really scary. Give them lights for the kids.
Hey buses never went round Camaghael thirty odd years ago but it was a nice walk !
There was torrential rain thirty odd years ago but we still managed to do the Loch Swim
And Justin Ryan used to saunter around Marshall & Pearsons thirty odd year ago dreaming of a future in DIY lol

a few things i dont like are the relentless fuckin rain, worse when its windy( walking near the shore in caol!!) the serious lack of clothes shops, whats with all the jacket shops, fuckin tourists! the shoddy bus service( well it was when i lived there 9yr ago). midges. the lack of entertainment for youngsters. they knocked down caol nursery!! couldnt believe that! its at least 60 mile from the nearest city, its depressing ! i always said that id move back to bring up my kids there but i can honestly say theres no way!!
Orite folks im heading u to fort william on saturday and looking for somewhere for a few mates and i to go out on staurday night where do you recommend. Cheers Folks

Having just completed dates supporting Hard-Fi, Ocean Colour Scene and The Delays, The Debuts (www.myspace.com/thedebutsmusic) are pleased to announce that we are playing the BA club, Fort William on Friday, 20th June 2008 as part of a Scottish tour to promote our brand new "Honesty" EP.
Doors for the event open at 8.30pm and it's an over 16's gig (we believe) it'll cost you no more than a fiver at the door and support for the night comes from the Rachel Cormack Band (www.myspace.com/rachaelcormack)
This will be our first ever visit to Fort William so we hope as many of you can come as possible and make it a really memorable night for us all.
