    IN LOVING MEMORY

It is with the deepest regret that I am contacting you to tell you that my beloved Molly has passed away. She had developed a heart condition which slowed her down, but had no obvious discomfort until Wed 10th JAN when her breathing became difficult until she no longer had the energy to lift her head from her pillow. After sitting up with her through the night, the girls and I took her to the vet, where we were informed that it was just a matter of time, and that she would deteriorate, and that her breathing would become more difficult
It was then I took the difficult decision to end her suffering.

After grooming her and changing her bedding, we placed her favorite toys in her bed and took her to the pet cremation centre and arranged that we should receive her ashes. I have since contacted the parks department to request permission to plant a tree and a memorial plaque in her memory.
I am sorry if this E mail appears to be a morbid but my talking about her has helped to ease things for me each time I do, and hopefully soon I will be able to do so without tears

The above E mail is a copy of that which I forwarded to my friends, all of whom would have realized how I was feeling on the day on which I had to make the decision to end Molly’s discomfort
Even to this day I still wish I had took the selfish decision to try and coheres the vet to temporally revive her, and I could have had another day with my friend, but I realized that my desire was selfish, which would have been made for my sake and not Molly’s

I have since been in contact with others who have lost their pets, and they have suggested to me that sometime in the future we will be reunited, and those whom we have loved will once more be together again
    .
No matter what your believes, how can you fail to wish, that someday those who are precious to us will be reunited, and it will be sufficient to know that our memories, will enable us to continue through this heartbreaking time. .
