    • BEBO MAIL VIRUS - IMPORTANT

      The problem lies within the users, not bebo! Once the virus gets onto your computer, it automatically sends messages from YOUR computer, not bebo's servers!

      This method of attack is often called zombification. Your computer is turned into a "zombie" (No, im not talking Resident Evil or Dawn of the Dead, that is what there called!) and the trojan can allow "hackers" access to your computer, and they can use your computer to spam others, if not more!

      Not only is this dangerous, but this is illegal for you! If you dont have up-to-date, anti-virus, firewalls and spyware/malware protection. Your computer has a unique address of where it is located (Internet Protocol Address/IP Address) if a hacker uses your computer to spam, or worse ... Hack into someone elses, you ARE the one at fault if you dont have the following!

      - Updates for your OS (Whether it be Windows, Linux, Mac or something else)
      - Up-to-Date Anti-Virus (If you dont want to pay for one, i recommend 'AVG FREE' just do a Google search)
      - Up-to-Date Anti-Spyware (Again, if you dont want to pay for one, do a search for 'AdAware Free Edition')
      - Firewall (The one that comes with Windows XP and Vista is fine)
      - A good strong password (XP Users - Boot your computer in Safe Mode, and assign a password to the built-in Administrator account. This is a common backdoor for trojans!

      WARNING!

      McAfee does NOT detect the virus, so if you use that download AVG or a trial version of either Kaspersky (#1 Anti-Virus) or Norton Internet Security Suite

      Suggestion for you -
      Start a group that is ONLY for reporting bebo faults. Make it clear that anyone who spams it will be barred from bebo for 24 hours.
      Do you know that your blocking system is not working?!
      I have been harrassed by an irrational woman ( that i have had blocked for months) on a new group that i have to the extent that i have had to put the comments onto moderate. She is commenting from her own group and boasts that the blocking isn't working. I reported it and asked that the blocking be fixed and i got a reply telling me to block her!!
      You badly need a fault reporting system that is manned and read by a person, not a pc!
      Also the top ten skins module is choosing skins at random ..... has been for weeks .....
