Yes. I actually was one of the winners for the essay contest! so here it is

It was a typical day at Horace Mantis Academy. All the girls
were flocking around the Jonas Brothers who had chosen to go to
this one-hundred year old school just a few months ago. Chelsea
and I were hanging at the back of the crowd, sure we were
probably the biggest fans there but we didn’t want to seem as
desperate as most of these girls were acting. Plus half of them
don’t even like the Jonas Brothers. During first hour, which I
have with Nick, the teacher announced that we were going on a
field trip. I was immediately excited. Then he said that we had to
have a partner for the trip and they had to be in our class. Of
course none of my friends were in my class. Great, I thought,
who am I going to partner with?
Just then Nick came up behind me and asked, ‘Do you
want to be my partner.’ The smile on my face gave me away. By
lunch the school everyone was talking about who was partnering
with Nick. Apparently no one knew.
Chelsea asked me if I knew, when I told her she freaked
out! “I wish that Joe wasn’t older than us,” she complained.
At the end of the day I was walking down the old stone
steps of the brick building covered in vines. The girls in my grade
were all whining that Nick wasn’t in their class or that he was
going with ‘some nobody’ I just smiled to myself and continued
walking down the long newly paved sidewalk that didn’t match
the school. Today turned into a not-so-typical day but Nick had
asked me to go on the field trip. Kevin was still amazing and
Chelsea will always love Joe. This was a great day.
