Venice day 2 and 3
Day 2 we went into the city and the crowds were mad after hours of walking me and niamh started to get an idea of were we were. the back streets were crowded and you couldnt c anything. then we found st marks square and it was full of people and pigeons and people holding pigeons was really nasty. a gondola ride was 40 euro each so sack that we took a run on the metro (city boat) instead. the heat was so unbelievable we ended up headin bk to hostel for the night.
Day 3 was spent by the pool and then in the evening went into venic. was so much nicer to c at end as u could actually move and it was cooler, so advice to anyone c the city ur in in the evening it will be worth it. just went bk to hostel and went to bed as had to get up at 4 in the morning to catch our flight to greece, athens were we r now.0 Kommentare 510 Tage

Venice day 1
So on one day we got off a train in vienna and on another to head to venice. bout 19hrs travelling. so finally arrived in venice and the heat wud have killed u especially with backpacks. we went got to hostel we got into our "4" bed room which actually had 5 beds and headed to pool were we lay all day. it was class the pool was jus rite temp. then wen we headed bk to room we realised there was 5 ppl to stay there so we went and said we paid 4 4 bed and the moved us to a 3 bed cabin with air conditioning and a fridge so all the better 4 us. so weve just had dinner and leaving to go to bar!! gonna head to the island tomorrow 4 a full day0 Kommentare 513 Tage

Vienna (29th June euro cup final day)
got off train bout 12 and the place was mad, take into consideration the football didnt start till half 8 that night. so we dumped bags in locker and more or less followed the fans. there was just seas of red and yellow and red yellow and black was getting bit confusing! ended up in the city and the place was packed the atmosphere was amazing singing, cheering flags the works actually felt like we were stood in the the stadium (which we couldnt find) ne way the heat was severe standing in the shade and we were sweating so we ended up leaving the centre it was getting really mad police everywere and even posing for fotos with ppl, bit mad. so we ended up getting on a night train from vienna to venice were we r now. the train meant to take 12 hours took bout 13. it was jus me and niamh in cabin but half way i went to go walk bout half 12 the front of the train was missing. there must have been a switch over, we were in salzburg. the train was so warm i cudnt sleep. it the end it was an hour later wen we started moving finally going to venice finally getting to sleep.0 Kommentare 513 Tage
