Well Guys, we're now in New zealand and been here almost a week, its freezing cold but so far we've been prett lucky with our weather and the things we've wanted to do. Spent firt couple of days in Aukland, its crap there, just like Dundee and not much to do really. Ten we left there and stopped at the Waitomo caves to see the Glow worms in the caves and then carried onto Rotorua whih stinks of Rotten eggs, its disgusting. There we went Zorbing, brillant fun, we did a sky swoop and a trip on the agrojet which was good but the zorb was definately the best!! Then the night before that we went to an traditional Maori nigh, that as reall good, they did ther dancy thing, really quite scary although ur trying not to laugh or smile as its seen as disrspetful although it was too scary to even think about laughing. The nt day we went to Hell's GAte which is a thermal area of hot pool's, boiling mud pool's and loads of diffeent tempature pool, too hot to touch most of them. Then we dipped our feeet not a ud pool, muh fun and did some Maori caring. Then we cme to Taupo. Yesterday we did yath ting to take us out to see Maouri carving, we thought they were anient but only 28yrs old, so not too impressed as i thought i was dying of hypothermia, not amused for a 2 sec look at a wall!!! Then later we went on a walk to see the Huka Falls, they were really beautiful but quite a up and down walk to get there, u can imagine lauras moaning!!! Today we're goin to the HOt water beach and then catch a film in the hostel. everywhere here is so quite as its winter and too old for most. Despite this i have still been wearing my flip flops but not even been hre a week and ive lost my tan, rage!! Bring on Fiji!!! Wellington tom hopefully to get a night out although we dont get there til 8 so we'l see how things ar weather wise, then we'l have 3 weeks down south before Fiji!!

Hey there, well well well, where do i start, we left LA on thurs last week, only really had a one full day there so did a bus tour and went to see the hollywood sign adn the stars and all that malark. We were on the bus for about 6 hours, i thought i was dying of hunger, it was horrendous!! Anyway after that we went got food and ha d a walk to the beach but it was too cold so just had a walk about abit. We were shattered so had to head back to the hostile to pack as we were leaving on thurs for LA. One of the girls in our room there Noreen from Ireland decided she's come down to San deigo with us so that was cool. We'd booked in the USA Hostel, very convenient as it was just perfect for us al young people there and lots of drinking to be done, hehe just kidding mum!! Anyway, we got the bus downtown LA which takes an hour in itself as it sooooo huge!! Got our first greyhound expereince, my god they are all crazy over here , absolutely mad!! After a supposed 3 hrbus journey, 4 hours later we arrived safely, got to the hostel and settled in no probs. We then hit the pub just a few doors down, where we were staying was just like party central, very nosiey tho so wasnt looking forward to bed as we were right on the street. ANyway sat in the pub where a band was playing, quite good but was soo loud, as we were shattered we just had a few then headed to bed.

Fri morning we wer up early and got the trolley to Tijuana in mexico, $5 return an absolute bargain, takes about an hour so not far at all. Got to mexico and it was kinda weird, it was so different, abit turkey with men prestering ya to buy all there rubbish, anyway you just kinda have to have the banter with them and move one, although by the end of the day we had had more than enough of them. Got to a supermarket where laura wanted cream and discovered the cakes were only 15p each,oh my god how could we resist, so we practically got one of every kind, 15 in total, to share of course although, still thats 5 each, yum yum. Speant the day there, just had a walk about and look in the shops. When it came to heading back to the US the queue was huge but went quite quickly, eveb for all the cars comin into the US, there were hoards of men trying to sell stuff at their cars. Anyway, Fri night, got bcak to the hostel, showered and a well deserved night out on the town!! Woo!!

Sat feeling a little worse for wear we had nowhere to stay as we decided to stay longer as we like it here, so we slashed out $40 to stay in a hotel, still only 20 quid but otherwise we would have had nowhere. We had a walk through Little Italy and down to the harbour, lots of navy ships and boats about as one of San deigo's main industry's is the navy. Got tickets for a 2 hours cruise up the north and south bays, it was lovely just to sit for 2 hours and relax. Headed back to the hotel where we watched TV yes Tv we had a tv inour room it was fab!!! But shortly after fell asleep.

Sunday we hit the Zoo i was so looking forward to this as i wanted to go when i was in California before. Got the bus up and a deal to go to the Zoo today and a trolley tour on monday. Its hard as everything is so expensive and you dont really want to miss anything out but its fun. Anyway the zoo was great, its massive, it was so so hot walking about in the heat all day and def take it out of you, by about 7 pm we were practically dead. Got the bus back and tonight we were staying in yet another hostel, an HI one this time as everywhere is booked, Only 2 hostels downtown so its a nightmare to get accom. Just really cheacked in and went to the pub for some half price food then headed home and went straight to bed.

Mon we were up early and went to the Horton Plaza (shopping centre) to catch the trolley bus, very cloudy this morning and we 'd planned to get off at Coranando to go to the beach as we've stiill not had a day at the beach! rage!! Anyway it just takes you round the city showing you all these ho

Well guys its taken some time to get this goin but ive finally got some time to sit and write a blog to bore you all about me and Lauras progress over here. Well not too much on New York as uv prob all heard it from Caroline, but we had an amazing time there, spent far to much money, constantly eating crap and im now the size of a bigger house, hehe!! Well we did all the usual stuff, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Braodway sgow, twice, HAIRSPRAY was amazing its comin to the cinema def recommend it!! Erm Empire State building, China Town, 3 Bus tours, Central PArk, Alcohol of course although they tend not to drink like us so was kinda weird goin out, and we tended to only need 3 or 4 and we were pissed anyway, im sure uv heard about the event of the rain and me!!! Was not amusing at all!!!! Staten Island Ferry, Bodies Museum, it was disgusting!!! and now it seems so long ago i cant quite remeber the rest. I signed my travel cheques on the wrong line on the first night, rage was 200 quid finally got it sorted tho, we've booked hostels for the dates and hostels in canada when it was meant to be america, oops and got tickets for train that were fully booked, quite amusing really, but everytime it alweays works out best.

Then 3 days before we left NY we headed up north to Niagara FAlls in Canada, we crossed the border with our packs on our backs, acted like idiots, nothing much has changed, had a fantastic time there, got pissed, ate crap, did the m,aid of the mist tour, a white water walk and the jpurney behind the FAlls. It was honestly s beautiful, def worth goin to the Canadian side to see and absolutely nothing like what i expected them to be like or situated where they were. I def want to go back to CAnada for sure, i loved it.

Anyway after our 10 hr train back to NY we got to hostelk got our pack and headed to airport to sleep the night to save a nights accom, it was horrendous, some stupid like dog was barkin all night i was almost arrested for murder!!! You all know how much i hate animals!!! Finally got to LA, arrived at our hostel beside Venice beach, absolutley knackered and looked like shit but we got there nevertheless, had a walk by the beach, never been anywhere ike it, it was lovely but more interesting was the diff types of weirdo that were there, so funny, kinda need to be there to appreciate it, caroline you would love it!! people begging for money for a burger for there fat girlfriend, men jumping on glass botlle, although i never stayed to see him do it as i was gona throw up, begging for money for pot!!! So funny although quite dodgey at night. Next day the never ending half day bus tour. Saw hollywood, Bel air Bev HIlls etc, Rodoe Drive and even had a wee in the Regent Bev Wiltshire, got a fanel to dry ur hands, no joke!!

Just now we;re in San deigo, it is beautiful, i love it here so does laura so we've booked a week here in 4 diff hostels even a hotel for the night, tonight as we cant get booked in one for the week it all booked out. Yest we went to Mexico, Tijuana, was brill there too, totally diff to america even tho it just across the border, quite sad tho, lots of beggars and kids sellin jewellery so pennies, oh and the best bit, the cheapest food ever, we got 15 cakes for like 15p each, amazing!!!
