Yeah thats right. I quit the job I had. I missed being here online too much. The job ended up taking every waking hour that I had. I loved it but I needed my 'me' time. So now I am back to starting up my own company, looking after my home and all that jazz. I have also been debating taking a holiday soon. Though where I will go I have no idea. Anyone have any suggestions? Haha.

Anyway to cut a long story short, I am back again now. After a fairly large span of time offline. Thank all the gods. I missed this place and everyone here way too much! Haha.

Well after 2 weeks of what started as helping out a friend then I found out was really training before christmas, I was promoted to a real job and not just sidekick. So for now I am a courier who delivers parcels for Australia Post, the main postal service here in Australia. Its only a part time job for now and why would I guess be that I actually do like the job. I have seen some of the most fascinating things, adorable pets and interesting people throughout my time so far in the job. Finally I am getting used to the physical demands of the job and by the day get quicker at doing it. We get paid per parcel we deliver so the quicker I can do it the better it is. The more time off for me. The more time I have to catch up with things here online.

Its been so long since I have been online that I had started to have some serious withdrawals! They suck! Haha. Its been a few weeks now. I kept falling asleep every day like ridiculously early and my head had been foozed by half way through the day even. I worked out I didnt have local street maps in my head, I had never driven for hours without breaks except to climb in and out of the car and cart heavy parcels to doors etc and when overheating I couldnt think. I've now bought a new refedex 2008 one no less so the latest one available (there are a lot of areas around us at the moment under heavy development having whole new estates being built so our areas and load for postal services is increasing here by the day. For example, since I got hired 2 other employees have been hired and a new sidekick is being trained in fear of the coming Easter. Until then it is all smooth sailing now. Most of us have been trained high enough that we can relieve any other member of our team if the need arises, some of us training high enough to relieve managers and sorters. Its a madhouse when it gets busy as I found out during the christmas period.) and copied all relevant regular runs I do to memory. To start with I had 2 which included the area of my own home and now I have 4 regulars and I run backup on a 5th run.

That run is the most beautiful one we have. 38km or more worth of run though. Out in the bush and around our local dam. The homes and land out there costing about $650 000 AUD and being the kind of home I have been saving up to buy as my second home. I want it to make an animal refuge/shelter on it. A temporary home for homeless animals or injured wildlife especially that saved from our suburban areas like homeless koala bears. I had to stop one night on the road here because a koala was sitting in the middle and damn I tell you what those things definately WONT move out of your way quickly. It looked at first like a grey ball then it dawned what it was. I was glad I had realised what it was and my passenger that I had been returning home was amazed that I recognised it and didnt hit it being night and all. If I had it would have broken my heart before anything else I think. They are so adorable. EXCEPT when they are fighting then they can make some damn scary sounds! Haha. I have a video I took at Dreamworld (local theme park big on saving and care of wildlife and endangered species and other wildlife in general) of some koalas out the back in the staff areas (we had a special sunset safari while there) fighting for who would get the top perch in the tree... King of the Tree fight I guess you could say. I will put it online as soon as I can.

ANYWAY.... In short, I have a new job now being courier. 2 weeks working part time now. Learning the whole way. The final parts I had to learn I discovered on the last wednesday and thursday been was how to do the paperwork when our scanners are out of action. My boss seems happy with my work and my friend is now a workmate. I havent been ignoring anyone here. Real life can suck at times and I decided some extra cash was a good thing even if I didnt need it. Haha. If you were a friend who has banned me due to my absence then I am sad. Maybe
