- Music
- I actually like most music, within reason. My favorite stuff is mostly classic rock as well as some modern bands. The bands I love the most (in no particular order of course) are Pink Floyd, The Arcade Fire, The Who, Dire Straits, Radiohead, REM, Meatloaf, Travis, Led Zepplin, and David Bowie. I also kinda like ambient or traditional music 'cos thats just how I roll
- Films
- The Five films I recommend to anyone are Apocalypse Now, because it has so much depth and meaning, The Truman Show, for similar reasons, Monty Pythons Quest for the Holy Grail, because its a work of comical genius, Hero, because it can only be described as beautiful and the Shawshank Redemption because it has such a great plot
- Sports
- The only sports I've really ever enjoyed are skiing, snowboarding and Ice-skating. They're also the only 3 sports I've ever been ever good at. I'm best at Snowboarding and I really enjoy just cruising down a slope on my own with my hands behind my back and listening to music. Especially Meatloaf.

- Long hair, simplicity, music, having a free day so I can sleep in, sleeping in anyway, covering walls and ceilings with posters, listening to albums I like for the first time, Architecture, silly clothes, hair, my DS, jeans, vinyls , bright colours, Edinburgh, not having to washing up, cottage cheese, patching up old jeans, my 360, arty stuff, people when they realize my hairs not getting cut, a good book, listening to whole albums at a time, turning off lights, the studio, teaching myself things, not having work to do, getting people apparently random presents that actually have a lot of 'thought' that went into them, being silly, realising how long my hair is, hollowing out fruit and filling them with chocolate, doing something I don't do often, the highlands and islands, filling my room up with stuff, making a mess, being brutally honest, going home and getting fed, in-jokes, staying up all night at parties, and finally wasting time on the internet rather than writing an essay
- Architecture
- The first project we had to do was designing a dot. Who thought that up, 'cos I really want to slap them.
Its now actually getting to be quite fun, just spending my days 9am till 8pm sitting in the studio, listening to music and cutting up bits of card. I once laughed so much I fell over.

- For those that don't know, this is my one outside course I'm aloud to do at uni and its awesomely good fun. Lots of debating things like god and morals etc with a bunch of random people that I don't really know but its all in good spirits and at the end of the day I'm missing a couple of hours of architecture a week to argue with strangers and then hopefully get some sort of award for it.

Studios been disturbingly quiet - no Erica being loud, no Rachel to be bullied and no Phil vs Marchant fighting to the death - all a bit bizarre. Missed my first lecture back on Thursday, thought it was Wednesday... there goes my new efficiency plan, so some things never change. I need to get kicking your but at pool again man, serious withdrawal syptoms

Wasssup! I’ll be having a birthday party/gathering next Saturday, 18th October and this is your official VIP invitation. We’ll be meeting up in Edinburgh mid-afternoon and going for dinner at the Union at 7 (where it’s cheaper than anywhere else) then having a couple of drinks there too, before hopefully meeting up with some other people and finally going for a spot of dancing or a sophisticated night at the Jazz Bar til 3 – I’ve not decided yet. Floor space and sofa space are aplenty, and we could meet up on Sunday morning too for a touch of coffee, cinema, bowling, lunch or lazing in the gardens.
Let me know if you’re up for it and can make it through, and then I can look into guestlists and hopefully book a room for us at the union too

gawd! architecture, is that not like 5 or 7 years!!!! where abouts??? spoke to people on the course at the glasgow school of art and it sounds pretty heavy going
