Tutto su di me: My novel The Silk Code won the 2000 Locus Award for Best First Novel. I've since published Borrowed Tides, The Consciousness Plague, The Pixel Eye, and The Plot To Save Socrates. My science fiction and mystery short stories have been nominated for Nebula, Hugo, Edgar, and Sturgeon Awards. My 8 nonfiction books, including The Soft Edge, Digital McLuhan, Realspace, and Cellphone, have been the subject of major articles in the New York Times, Wired, and all the rest. They've been translated into 9 languages around the world. New New Media - about how Twitter and YouTube are changing our lives - was published by Penguin Acaemics in September 2009. I appear on "The O'Reilly Factor," "The CBS Evening News," the "NewsHour with Jim Lehrer," "Nightline," and lots of other national & international TV and radio programs.
