Bebo closing down

This blog post isn't an update about the band or Gas. It's about another issue some of you may already have heard about yesterday.
As most of you may already know, there is a big possibility of Bebo closing down at the end of next month. For those of who have no idea what I'm talking about, follow the link:

Because of this, I'm in limbo as to what to do with the groups.
I just want to remind all of you that no matter what may happen, I have enjoyed creating these groups & slowly building them into what they are today. We haven't had the most members in the groups on Bebo, but I'd like to say I've had the best members.
You all have been a huge inspiration for me to keep the groups going & growing into what they are today. With the possibility of Bebo being gone after next month, I'd like to take the time now to say thank you to all of you. I've had the luck of getting to know some of you & for that, I'm eternally grateful.
I'd like to see Bebo stick around. I know there are some dramas that arise, but for the most part, I do consider Bebo to be the best social networking sites on the internet.
I have signed a petition which I'm hoping will help to keep Bebo online. You all can sign it as well:

I've read some comments on there that almost broke my heart. We all have memories on this network & I'd hate to see them all just someday go away.
I just want you all to know, I'll be keeping an eye on the fate of Bebo. I'd suggest that you all backup anything you have on your profiles now, just to be on the safe side.
And... if, indeed Bebo is going to come to an end, I think it would be only fitting for us all to party-post on this group & the others one last time. I'll post an update on when in the near future.

On this day, in 1971, a darling, sweet Cherub was born. Eventually, the day would come where this little darling, known as Mika would be the beat of so many hearts and shine with his own light from within.
I present to you the birthday blog for Mika Kristian Karppinen, also known to most as Gas Lipstick!!
Fellow HIM worshippers, today is the birthday of a man who shines like the true gem he is. He may consider himself to be just a drummer- but oh, he is so much more! He is the heartbeat of HIM... the thunder in my heart & yours.
I dare confess, I have a soft spot for Gas. He is truly an amazing musician, a drummer. He doesn't do what he does for glory, like some drummmers- he does it for the love of it. He doesn't care that the spotline may not shine down upon him, but to see him play, you can see that he still shines with his own light, a happiness that so few others possess. Seeing Gas like this, makes me see him in a totally different light, every time. He is adorable! He is just so...words can't come to mind- not now, or maybe never, but it he so...I don't know...beautiful & magical all at the same time, from his own light from within him.
So, I dedicate this Birthday blog to honour Gas, for being the one who makes my heart pound harder & faster with the music...a man who shines without the need for a spotlight upon him. I wish you a very happy Birthday, BabyDoll. May it bring you so much happiness and love from all those you hold near & dear to your own heart. I wish nothing but a lifetime of smiles to carry within your heart, if only to shine brighter, for today...for tomorrow & always.
