Having already received acclaim and success in Liverpool, The Wombats have recently been getting attention in some more exotic locations - from China to Canada. They now have further international trips planned to France and Malawi.
They have become increasingly popular in Liverpool being the first unsigned band to sell out the Carling Academy Liverpool. Having released three records on KIDS records, the final one being ' Backfire At The Disco' which was their first official chart eligible single. They signed to 14th Floor Records (Warner) and their first major release (Kill The Director) was released on the 25th June 2007.
