In 2004 there were 153,397 deaths from cancer in the UK.... That’s 420 people a day.... Every day 420 mothers lose a child.… 420 families a day are torn apart.… Having lost their mum, dad, brother, sister, nan, grandad, aunty, uncle, friend…. How does it feel…?
Elaines daughter Sarah died of cancer when she was just 12 years old. Elaine is never going to see her only daughter get married or have children!
Jodie met jake when she was 23 [&&] they fell in love…. 3 years later, just after the wedding, they found out he had lung cancer… He was an ex smoker… He died 3 months after diagnosis…Then Jodie found out she was pregnant… Their baby will never no its father!
Aaron’s dad died of mouth cancer when he was just 6… He has just turned 15 [&&] his mum now has breast cancer… She only has a few months to live!
David never got to meet his grandad… He died of stomach cancer before he was born!!
These stories are tragic but true
Claire found out in 2003 that she had breast cancer… After a course of chemotherapy the doctors told her she was in remission!
Not every story ends in death… But they all add up to pain… And it duzn just hurt the person diagnosed… It hurts their family [&&] friends as well… Think how many tears are shed over this illness…Its a nasty and painful disease that causes suffering to everyone…
But to anyone whos ever lost a loved one to cancer… It gets a little better every day… Remember that they are looking down on you, smiling!!
Put this on your Bebo in remembrance… Or just out of respect [&&] maybe one day they will find a cure… until then all we can do is offer support and care to those that this disease is affecting… people just like you… people whoz dad cudn walk them down the aile on their wedding day… kids who never got to cuddle their nan… people who lose their wives and husbands… mothers and fathers whoz young children die
