Originally called SuperXero, they abbreviated their name to Xero, They made just one demo tape, which included the songs "Fuse", "Reading My Eyes", "Stick N' Move" and "Rhinestone"
They didn't do so well, so they changed there name to "Hybrid Theory" and released an EP called "Hybrid Theory EP"
Then then later changed there name to Linkin Park. Linkin Park is a nu-metal band. They formed in 1996, and have since sold more than fifty million albums and won two Grammies.

WHY I LUV LINKIN PARK SO MUCH
THE REASONS I LOVE LINKIN PARK IS BECAUSE THEY ARE A FANTASTIC BAND WHICH CAN PLAY LOADS OF DIFFERENT STYLES OF MUSIC, INCLUDIN ROCK, CLUB STYLED MUSIC, CLASSICAL, RAPPING ( R N B STYLE) AND MORE.
THE VOCALS OF MIKE SHINODA AND CHESTER BENNINGTON ARE ANOTHER REASON AS THEY ARE A BRILLIANT PAIR AND WORK AND BLEND REALLY WELL 2GETHER. LINKIN PARK WHEN THEY WERE CALLED XERO ONLY HAD MIKE SHINODA AS A VOCALIST AND THEY WERE STILL GD BUT AS SOON AS CHESTER JOINED AND THEN THE BAND BECAME HYBRID THEORY THEN ON 2 LINKIN PARK THERE MUSIC BECAME BRILLIANT. CHESTER IS A BRILLIANT SINGER AND NO OTHER SINGER CAN REPLACE HIM.
ANOTHER REASON IS BECAUSE OF THE BRILLIANT QUALITY SONGS ON THERE ALBUMS INCLUDING HYBRID THEORY, REANIMATION, METEORA, COLLISION COURSE ( JAY-Z INVOLVED) AND THERE WICKED ALBUM MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT. I LIKE ALL OF THESE ALBUMS BUT THE BEST ALBUMS BY FAR IN MY OPINION ARE MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT AND HYBRID THEORY AS THE SONGS ON THESE 2 ALBUMS REALLY ROCK ME WORLD AND I LOVE THEM.
THE SONGS ARE THE MAIN REASON OF COURSE, THEY ARE ALL BRILLIANT AND FANTASIC SOME OLDER THAN OTHERS BUT STILL LIVE ON THROUGH MY CD PLAYER LOL. SOME OF MY FAVS INCLUDE
PAPERCUT, ONE STEP CLOSER, WITH YOU, POINTS OF AUTHORITY, CRAWLING, RUNAWAY, BY MYSELF, IN THE END, PUSHING ME AWAY, SOMEWHERE I BELONG, FAINT, FIGURE.09, BREAKIN THE HABBIT, NUMB, POINTS OF AUTHORITY/ 99 PROBLEMS/ ONE STEP CLOSER ( JAY-Z FEAT LINKIN PARK), GIVEN UP, LEAVE OUT ALL THE REST, SHADOW OF THE DAY, WHAT IVE DONE, HANDS HELD HIGH, NO MORE SORROW, VALENTINES DAY, IN PIECES, LITTLE THINGS GIVE YOU AWAY AND THE LIST CAN GO ON AND ON BUT IM NOW BORED LOL.

I think meteora and hybrid theory were amazing albums but minutes to midnight was complete trash, the only good song was 'what i've done'.

rite lets clear this up max. linkin park rule. there album minutes 2 midnight is different but is a very gd album and it proves that linkin park can do different styles of music rather than ur shit bands u like who just scream in2 the mic and reacon there heavy. and yes there old stuff is realli gd aswell. max u only say that about minutes 2 midnight as u only like heavy metal and reacon everything else is shit well let me tell u its not.
