Lip Piercings

Labret :-
A lip piercing pierced with a labret stud or a CBR. With the stud a flat disc sits between the back of the lip and the gums and a ball secures the bar on the outside of the lip. Labrets can pierced in the centre, or off-centre.

Vertical labret :-
This piercing is very similar to a labret but instead of goin through the lip from front to back it goes from below the lower lip line up through the lip tissue and the the bar of choice is either a staright barbell or a bananabar, one bal sits below the lipline and one above on the lip

Lowbret :-
Just a lower Labret.

Vertical Lowbret :-
Starts inside the mouth between the lower lip and the teeth (not behind the teeth as with a mandible piercing) and travels straight down, exiting on the lower edge of the jawline.

Lip Plates :-
Large lip piercings stretched to the point where they can be worn flipped out/down. They can be solid disks or hollow rings.

Madonna or Monroe :-
Labret studs worn on the upper lip where Marilyn Monroe had her famous mole.

Medusa:-
Piercing goes through the center of the upper lip, perpendicular to the tissue.

Jestrum :-
Same as vertical labret but performed on a medusa instead of a labret

Angelbites:-
The term used for two upper lip piercings (madonna & monroe) combined one either side.

Vertical Angelbites:-
A set of angelbites, performed like vertical labrets but on the upper lip

Snakebites :-
The term used for two lower lip piercings on opposite sides of the mouth. They can be rings or studs.

Vertical Snakebites:-
2 vertical labrets, either side of the lower lip

Spiderbites :-
The term used for two lower lip piercings but are close together (unlike snakebites which are not close together)

Sharkbites :-
The term used for two lower lip piercings, side by side on either the left or right sides of the mouth. They can be a combination of rings or studs.

Canine Bites(Vertical angelbites/Vertical Snakebites) :-
Either a set of vertical snakebites or vertical angelbites, not both together

VampireBites:-
Both a set of vertical snakebites and a set of vertical angelbites

Dual Labret(s) :-
A term generally used for two piercings through the bottom lip, or lowbret piercings, placed next to each other at the center of the mouth. Though commonly labret studs, rings can be worn through the bottom lip.

Smiley:-
A bar/ ring through the top lip web

Frowny:-
A bar/ ring through the lower lip web

Ear Piercings

Conch :-
This term refers to any piercing through either the inner or outer shell of the ear.

Daith :-
This inner ear cartilage piercing is just above the opening into the ear canal. The name comes from the Hebrew word meaning "wisdom."

Helix Outer cartilage ridge piercings :-
This is a popular location for multiple rings, which can be set around the rim, or through the ridge itself.

Anti-tragus :-
This piercing is through the thicker cartilage piece adjacent the tragus, attached to the rim of the ear.

Streched Lobes :-
These are bigger gauge holes, usually lower down on the lobe. The smaller the jewelry gauge number, the larger the hole. Jewelry for these can be like tiny tubes or plugs and go up to about an inch and a half in the more commonly found largest sizes. Authentic, tribal jewelry is wearable in these sizes with elaborate, hand-carved pieces crafted from materials such as bone, stone or wood.

Rook :-
These ear piercings goes through the stiff ridge in the fold of the shell of the ear.

Tragus :-
This piercing is through the cartilage chunk just next to the opening of the ear canal. If you are fond of ear bud style head phones, be careful how you set this piercing, as placement deeper into the tissue or a larger gauge ring can interfere with how the buds seat themselves in the ear conch.

Vertical tragus:-
Instead of through the tragus horizontally, it goes from top to bottom of the tragus

Industrial/Scafold :-
These are pairs
