- this is group for fans of Rurouni Kenshin or ppl that want to find out about Rurouni Kenshin. Kenshin's parents were killed when he was little and he was sold to slave traders. The slave traders were attacked and Kenshin was the only one left alive. Seijiro came along took Kenshin in as his apprentice (Kenshin's real name is Shinta but Seijiro thought that name was to weak so he renamed him Kenshin). Seijiro, master of the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu taught Kenshin this extremely powerful sword style. Kenshin later becomes Hitokiri Battosai the most feared assasin during the Revolution (Kenshin was an Ishin Shishi which means he fought for the Meiji government). After the war kenshin decides to atone for all the brutal slayings of his past by vowing never to kill again and takes up the life of a wanderer with his sakabatou or reverse blade sword.

Kenshin is sooooooo... beautiful. Handsome doesn't fit. Aoshi, Hiko and Sano are handsome, but Kenshin is so androgynously beautiful. I just want to squish him to pieces.
