Felt like an update
Well dunno. A lot of things have changed in a short time. Getting engaged, getting a house, getting a new job, loosing/gaining friends, 2 years. I'm just in a bit of a mood to write really.
Soooo things?
Getting engaged see last blog.
Getting a house bit old now not that new (6 months) but still if you don't know where it is gimmi a shout n visit ne time. (steph )
New job Working at The Royal Highland going alright, a bit lower standards than my last hotel but I spose that's to be expected.
Loosing people seems to be all to common these days a few in particular I really regret one more than others because it was all my fault. I'd try getting back in touch if it wasn't so painful.
Bleh. Anyway.
Gaining friends/talking to some old ones more is good. Falken, Lisa ect ect ect good times.
2 years? What's that all about? 2 years next month me n Emma have been together it's gone really quick I dunno what happened but everything is good. Got money to spare n still all loved up (though more in the old couple arguing way heh)
Oh n yeah I might have found a.. well kinda religion I like the sound off, still looking into it more to see a bit more detail what it's about but it might be useful to believe in something other than myself for a change.0 Comments 192 days

Engaged
happy Valentine to all my happy people of bebo.
So how's it gone so far for me?
13th was spent with good friends, new friends, good drink and a lot of laughs. Little did my dear sweet emma know of what was to come after we got home.
After building my courage next to the flickering warmth of the fire I simply told Emma how I feel, how I love her so and how he is everything to me. I had to tell her three times I was serious before she said yes.
12:05PM 14th
All day Alex and I had been preparing and cooking and with the lights out and the candle light dim Emma and Denise were introduced to:
Gammon Steak - Grilled with a dusting of black ground pepper and garlic cloves.
Mashed Potatoes - Traditional though with asparagus finely chopped mixed through
Sweetcorn - Nothing fancy simply warmed
Carrots - Cut to sticks and boiled in butter for apx three minutes
All with a adaptation of traditional beef gravy to add a little spice.
Desert? As simple as chocolate pudding with fresh strawberry (forgot the cream)
Couldn't have asked for a better day and that's valentines only just getting started.
