well i dont have today off, i just dont start work for another hour... i can honestly say i am bored.. i have been here since like 11 this mornign and it is 3 now.. i wanted to sleep in today, especailly cause i got dragged out last night, well not litterally dragged just somehow managed to say ok ill come.. but yeah i got home at 2 and i woke up at 6 and after that i was hardly able to sleep.. which was rather sad.. becuase i was really tired and i wanted to sleep. but yeah.

but as for last night. i wasnt planning on drinking. i was just going to have a glass of rivella, my fav drink in switzerland, and than head home.. but i sat beside steff and krigle and was talking with them and then they decided that i had to try apenzaller... it was fun just talking with them, of course steff wanted to know what he had said the last wknd that was stupid and telling him that he had said a lot of stupid things didnt really make him stop wondering. so than he asked if he had really been that bad and i said no i was only half listening. so yeah he started laughing and said so if you were really listening i would have been that stupid. but yeah it was a fun night.. than after about 3 appenzallers i said i cant drink anymore and just had a rivella and than they asked me if i had ever been to teh rizzli and when i said no they said ok you are coming with us now to go there... so i went... there wasnt much happening there but it was still fun. i was there about maybe 2 hours than i went home... of course they got mad at me for going home and said that i should stay and drink more. i just told them that i did wat i wanted to do, thanked them for the drinks and left..

but now i get to go on a helicopter ride with them sometime while i am still here. they had been for a ride that day and had forgotten somthing in the car and then when they found out that i had had the day off they said that i should have gone with them than they wouldnt have forgotten the thing. so for the rest of the night they were talking about how they did something wrong, they didnt take me with them. lol. that and how big a horses butt was.. of course that started with talking about how big steaks would have came from it and that they had the grill ready and that the horse would have broken the grill and than into how big its butt was.. but yeah taht was disturbing in more than one way.

but yeah.. there are a lot of ppl who know my name that i just look at and say, hi who are are? but im getting to know ppl. but yeah i think i am going to find smtg to do. laters.

who ever said that days off are a good thing i think that if i ever meet them i might just have to shot them.. well luckily for them i wont ever meet them and secondly if i do i will have to agree with them... well days off are good as long as you have something to do. i mean i just spent the last two days doing... exactly nothing.. well to be more honest i did next to nothing. i couldnt even sleep! i am so used to getting up in the morning that the latest that i was able to stay in bed was 9:30. regular walk up time was 8:30. and for some odd reason becuase when i have to work early i have to get up at 7 now i cant sleep in anymore. not that i could to begin with but still. okay like normal i am getting off topic. the other reason that they are lucky is because if i ever do meet that person it is very unlikely that i will actually have a gun and if i do it is unlikely that i will have the guts to shot them. i mean i am a very no violent person.... i think... well when it comes to being so mad that i would be able to hurt someone really badly, happenes about once every 100 blue moons. so i dont think that they have to worry... but still i am not really likeing my days off.

the past couple were ok because i was able to travel and go visit family and what ever else i did, but this last two days was not nice because i did not have the money to travel and were i live there is nothing to do. i did go with my cousin to the next village but that was the highlight of the last two days... that and figuring out how easy it is to not have to pay for drinks. lol. but i'll get to that later. fisrt meiringen.

we went there cause i was bored and i wanted a Pepsi.. you have no idea how hard it is to find Pepsi in Switzerland.. i have been forced to drink coke on a few occations when that was the only drinkable thing here. although i have to admit that i like the coke that they have here better than the coke in canada. but anyways. while we were in meiringen Nati and I decided that we wanted to go the S-Cafe which accourding to her has the best drink in meiringen... it is also on the other side of town from the train station. so we walked all the way over there just to find out that it was closed... as were the other 3 resturants we wanted to go to after that. so we ended up having to walk all the way back and it was very hot out.. so we had a great time complaining about how it would be nice if it would be rainin... but in the end we had ice cream at some little cafe called Rossli (horse) but yeah it was nice... than we went home and went to go cool off in the creak and it was ready to start raining.. just when it would have been nice if the sun was out, it went a way... just what we wanted... 2 hours before..

so anyways, in the hotel where i work i can eat and drink for free, but if i want alcohol i have to pay for that myself... which is so nice.... i understand it.. and i know that its only fair but last year i didnt have to pay for anything.. lol well last year i was living with my auntie not really actually working for her. i was just helping here in the hotel. but yeah. so i found out that the easiest was to get drinks for free is just to sit at the bar and talk to the right ppl or person. and i usually can get my drinks paid for. it is really only funny cause i wouldnt drink if i had to pay for them myself. mainly b/c i dont have the money for it and also i dont really want to drink that much while i am here. i've only been partying once and it was fun but it made me really homesick cause it wasnt with the people that i usually party with. and partying just made me miss them more... which i dont need i am having enough fun improving im german, learning how to waitress and learning how to deal with the stress of waitressing.

but honestly when it comes down to it i love it here. i can see why i always said that one day i would more back here. it is just wonderfully beautiful here and i love waitressing, which is really f

well so far i am still breathing which has to say smtg... lol but i am not 100% sure. i am enjoying myself here and am slowly getting over homesickness. but wat slowly really means is that i havent actually reached the peak of homesickness... right now time is just going be at a pace that makes a week seem like a month.

but so yeah. so far my expeirences in switzerland include learning to waitress and speak swiss at the same time. which i would never suggest trying. although it is kinda fun. well a lot of the ppl here still know me from last year and so it can be fun. although i have to admit that i am a little insucre about waitressing. but i know that i will get used to it and evenutally be good at it. although my gramma has been dragging too my mama about how pleased my auntie is with my work.... so i guess that means that i am doing a good job. lol.

so other than waitressing and working, which are infact the same thing, im just to lazy to change it. anyways other than that i have been able so spend a night in Safenwil, with my auntie and her family. i have adjusted to live in switzerland. and i have spent a lot of time getting mad at the european keyboard, mainly because here they have the z and the y backwards and so a lot of the time i will go to type a word with z instead of y. like my, i will spell that mz. but yeah.

i also got to spend the day yesterday with my gramma, it was my first day off since i started on the 28th of june. and i went to brienz and saw my gramma and she took me out for pizza. i havent really spent much time with her since she was last in canada so i really enjoyed that i was able to see her and to spend so much time with her. after lunch we went to see my auntie liz and cousin nikki than nikki gramma and i went up to see my aunite nelly and uncle fritz and their oldest daughter sam. we stayed there for a while till nikki and i headed back down.

last night was the first time that i drank in switzerland. it was fun. in switzerland you must be 18 to drink hardstuff but with 16 you can drink beer and wine and such things. so when there are big parties or concerts of things like that you get a braclet or stamp that says how old you are and than you can show that when you buy drinks if they ask how old you are. so last night my cousin nikki and i went to a concert in brienz-wiler, which is just a little bit outside of my mamas home town of Brienz. and when we went to get our braclets they didnt ask for id and just gave us the 18 and older braclet. so i was drinking bacardi cola most the night. it was fun. the music wasnt the best. well the second band was really good but after that was horrible until i started drinking. once your drunk anything sounds good.

when i woke up this morning i actually didnt feel as bad as i expected but i have been spending today being really bored doing nothing. but now i have to go.
