CH. 1
That Changing Night

I feel a sharp pain in my head and the room starts to spin. All of a sudden I’m not in my bedroom doing homework.
The room I’m in is dark, except for one light. In the room there is a table and some chairs in the room. A pregnant woman walks into the room. She looks about eighteen; she is extremely gorgeous with long, light brown and golden eyes. She sits down looking at her stomach for a while.
I sit watching here and out of nowhere she falls off her chair. I try to help her but I hear someone screaming from behind me. I turn around and someone grabs my wrists and I get pulled back to reality. There is a man standing over me, its Cole, my mum’s friend. He carry’s me to a chair and ties me to it. I see my mum sitting across from me; she is tied to a chair too. She screams at Cole to let me go, she calls him a backstabber and some other things I’m not aloud to say. Cole tells her to shut up and that she wouldn’t be in this position if she hadn’t gotten in the way.
Cole mumbles something and the floor between mum and me catches fire. I’m about to scream when the room starts to spin again. The fire disappears, but then its back.
The screams I hear aren’t my mums or mine. I look around to see who else is in the house. I see the woman I saw earlier, except she isn’t pregnant any more. She is on fire and dying, but again I can’t help her. I hear fire engines and then realize what’s going on. I’m having a vision! I can’t believe it! But, I don’t have visions. I only know what its like because my mum has them. See, I’m telekinetic; I move things with my mind.
I watch as the ambulance takes the woman to the hospital. Everything goes black.
