- Shadow Aspect started in 2004 with the intention of producing a more Groove orientated style of metal. With heavy influences from the likes of Pantera, Black Sabbath and Killswitch Engage Shadow Aspect produced a unique style. After playing their first show with a local promoter Shadow Aspect have grown and started gaining recognition outside of the local scene, with Myspace band of the month in Total Guitar and a half page interview in Rhythm Magazine (Both shown on the pics page)
2007 was the year Shadow Aspect grew as a band and became a 5 piece, with Lionel Percy joining Adam Pinner on Guitar and Lee Hanson becoming bass player.
