A big shout out to my legendary mate Malcolm Hurley who passed away last week.

I have now been working every day for the past three weeks in order to try and save up some moolah so Mattie and I can move out. Even though te shifts aren't so long - I'm not doing 9 hour shifts every day or nothing like that, it's the fact that you HAVE to go out to work every day. You can't really plan anything, because you're always W-O-R-K-I-N-G!!!!!!! I'm doin Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Morrisons and Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at hospital doing the cleaning. PHEW!!!!

One of the things that I don't understand is how I always used to go to work when I was hanging out my arse, but nowadays I just can't stomach it ... literally!!!! I know it's a little bit too much information but I went out Saturday night into Warminster town (something I don't do very often because it's C-R-A-P) and not only did I get ID-ed (yes, really...) but I had relatively little alcohol compared to what I used to be able to drink - you are talking to the girls who could still TALK (not stand, mand) after 8 pints of Stella ActaTwat - I only had 3 small glasses of Rose, 2 bottles of Stella (not even pints, I might add) and a house double vodka and coke on Saturday. To be fair, I was alright that night, but the next morning I was ROUGH!!!!!! I was sick as a parrot (not that I've ever seen a parrot be sick). I went to work, but was as much use as a chocolate teapot.

So I have decided to give up drinking. So far I have managed 3 days. Anyone want to place bets on how long they think I'll last. But seriously, I used to go out ravin in Milton Keynes, only drink bottles of water, and get dropped off at work as soon as we'd drove home and not even bat an eyelid. I reckon it's gotta be the alcohol. You must admit, a handover's far worse than anything else you might have experienced.

So, my challenge that I've set myself (not that it's much of a challenge, but it's an excuse to go out partying) is that I'm gonna go to Hardcore Heaven in Bournemouth and go to work the day after. I'm not gonna drink all night, just gonna stay on the water, and see what happens the next day. You could call it an experiment, a service that I'm doing for the good of mankind .... or mans head [ache] anyway.....

It's where the buzz from the weekend finally wears off, and that good old friend of yours called reality kicks in. At the moment, I am not lovin it...
As I spose you know, I've been working as a dinner lady at a boarding school, for an agency. The headmaster offered me the job TWICE - once for the morning shift, and once for the evening shift, and both times "SODEXHO" - the company who sort of run the kitchen (although they are doing a VERY BAD JOB at the minute) gave the job away to someone else. Their "reasons" were that I have pink hair (even though I dyed it blonde about 2 weeks ago) and that I have had too much time off. The only time off I have had is when I needed to take Mattie to the hospital and when I've been down to Lowestoft. We had negotiated that I would take off one monday in the month so I could come down and see the lovely lowestoftians.
BUT NO, no job for Ciara :-(
I dunno why I'm moaning on here ... I must be BORED!!!!!!!
But seriously, if anyone knows any people who know something about workers rights n stuff, could they get in touch...? I'm sure what they have done is very naughty, but I'm especially pissed because I turned down a job at centerparcs because I thought I had the job there.
