Dreams in the Shadows Update
I have posted a working edit of Chapter One of Dreams in the Shadows. It needs a lot of work but I have some great editors helping out and some wonderful friends here on Bebo to offer advice. I hope you enjoy this very rough draft of Chapter One.

Erica Pike and the Resistance
It has been over a month since Erica Pike admitted to being behind the Resistance. The world now knows the truth about Erica and those that act on her behalf. We rebelled against her only when she had violate every principle which humanity holds dear. She has blamed us for Bree's death. We question if that death even happened. Her agents have slandered and murdered our kind when the truth is known that she simply wanted Bree to have a child for her. Was it not Erica who sent Truman to murder a five year-old child only to consume his blood? Despite this you still consider us evil. Those Elders and the few Deacons that remained loyal to Erica are damned by both G_D and the Morning Star. She has been punished and is now in a coma because of her crimes. Why do you remain loyal to one who is pure evil when the world is one which calls for balance. Her agents have been unmasked before the world but you still refuse to see the truth. Fight for Free Will.

The Erica Pike Book: "Dreams in the Shadows"

“Dreams in the Shadows” is an experimental writing project which will allow the reader to witness the process of writing a novel. I hope this will allow the reader a window into the tedium that goes into a finished piece of literature. During the months ahead you will see constant revisions, periods of writer’s block, mistakes, more mistakes, misspellings and countless edits.
I invite the readers to use the comments section for their own suggestions regarding the plot, corrections, edits, stylistic changes or for any purpose they see fit. At the current time I am also working on a second book which is an unconnected work of fiction. I expect that this will complicate this project greatly.
For those readers already familiar with the character of Erica Pike, you will learn the story of the girl upon whom this character is actually based. This will of course means that the story will differ greatly from the Erica Pike with whom you are already familiar. You will find their two worlds similar but the two characters’ stories will not be connected.
I hope you enjoy participating in this project as we both go down a path of interactive literature which I believe will become common place in the future.

As of midnight tonight Pacific Standard Time you have 3 days, 72 hours. At the of the 73rd hour, one of you will die. Ask your self, "Do I want to play the odds that it won't be me?"
The answer to that question is important. I've told you how to avoid death. I'm telling you again, Surrender. Individually or as a whole it makes no difference to me. Tender your Surrender to Erica.
