GORGOROTH HAVE NOT SPLIT!!! NO NEED TO KILL SHIT GUYS
In October of 2007, Gaahl and Infernus had an undisclosed argument over the future of the band. Using a MySpace bulletin, they announced their dissolution. On October 22, the band's official website claimed Infernus to have departed the band, with Gaahl and King ov Hell to continue touring and releasing material under the name 'Gorgoroth', but as a founding member and the chief ideologist of Gorgoroth prior to this dissolution, Infernus is filing suit against his former contemporaries for use of the name.
It was later announced that Hellhammer has joined forces with Gaahl and King. A bulletin was posted on MySpace; "Continuing on with the new agenda now forged for Gorgoroth, Gaahl and King have enlisted none other than Hellhammer (Mayhem) to join them on battery beginning in 2008
Gaahl and King are creating a force which will only contain members of a strong and creative energy in honor of the art that is Gorgoroth and their renewed sense of destruction and war! Hellhammer possesses these ideals and he will add another dimension to this new and different beginning.

I personally listen to Cradle a fair bit, I have heard most of the their songs and I have a few albums. In technical terms they arent flash, in listening terms they arent too good. They arent BM because they lack decent satanic elements and anyway they are a CONCEPT band. that means Paul Allander writes a load of music, then Dani throws darts at a few peices of paper and says "Im going to write about Drugs/Sex/Alcohol/Satan/Some stupid french cunt who tried to summon demons and do all this other occult shit in his bedroom.
That dont make them satanic, it makes them metal, but not BLACK metal.
All in all, they should never have made it further than the heads of about 3 members but in the end they sound ok. but in each separate element of music they fail.
commenting on the statement about Cradle of Filth...
Dusk...And Her Embrace is one of the finest symphonic black metal albums! Almost as good if not equal to In The Nightside Eclipse! And The Principle Of Evil Made Flesh is a brilliant album too.

Most metal is good lol however i am currently leaning towards Industrial rather than Black Metal.
