mirror, mirror on the wall... who's the fairest of them all?
mirrors are something you can easily love or hate, mirrirs being very manipulative and clever, you have to think twice in order to make them your best friend.
how many of us have ever stare at the mirror and just point out mostly the negatives bodies to ourselves?
like for example saying your thighs are much wider and those love handles are out of place or my skin is not shiny enough today! yea all us girls have been there.
although it is fasinating how models or actresses etc can look so beautiful on magazine covers or inside them. well we do have our "off days" and "good days".
it depend on our moods and motivation.
moving on... mirrors dont want you to look and think " oh my god im so fat" ! , they prefer us to say i am fabulous, i am beauitiful and i am worth it.
sometimes i think why do we ask people for their opinion about our image when there is a mirror that shows you the reality. But people often get the wrong impression of them.
over the generations young people have become more insecure about their image and self-esteem has been lowered. i blame the exposure of unrealistic celebrities who dont show any consideration for the impact they have on teens.
similarly some of their uncertainties are caused by their comparisons with their peers. In places like schools or youth clubs we tend to idolise the looks of most popular people /person whose image is being admired by everyone, while some of us feel peer-pressured into looking like everyone else in order to fit in.
life would be much more enjoyable and stress-free if once in a while we ignored all these petty issues which aren't as serious as make them out to be.
as young people are more modern and smart today, it is taking us much longer to discover and therefore accept ourselves as individuals. This means we suffer more as it does not allow us to enjoy our teenage lives without worrying about our image and people's opinions of us. We will do anything to transform ourselves.
i think we get our personal perception of beauty from magazines, TV , internet and TV stars but why aren't we smart enough to only take the positives from these people.
we should learn to accept ourselves and embrace our unique qualities and abilities. after-all there's is more to life then worrying about looks. Its more about achievements and sucess. Having such will power

it can be a cruel world, especially with the papparazi on your evey move.
unless you enjoy the attention it can be annoying. But they have to live with it.
They are famous for what they do, the z- listers from shows such as Big brother do get their 15 mins of fame but along the way they are not worth the money they earn.
hard-working actresses/actors get more the creditation than they do!
The money, cool parties and the glamourous life style that celebrities have is mesmerising. i mean who wouldnt want that sort of luxury? the down side is the media making up stories.
some of us do look up to some of these celebrities for what they do and what they have achieved.
well all i can say, i dont have a favourite actress or actor but i do admire some of their well-earned entertainment.
