You might have heard that the youth club format is changing. Below is a run down of how things will work next term, and how you get involved!!!


Primary Hang Out - Tuesday's 5pm till 7pm - McLaren Leisure Centre

For young people in primary 6 and 7 in any of the rural primary schools. We will have loads of fun things to do (sports, arts, crafts, computers, dance....) and also work with you to prepare for High school!
There will be a £5.00 registration fee, and weekly fee of £1.00.

Wednesday NIght Youthy - Wednesday's 7pm till 9pm - McLaren Leisure Centre

If you are in S1 to S3, this club is for you. Again providing fun activities as normal, but also the oppertunity to work through youth acheivemnt awards, and the chance to build up personl skills like team work, communication etc. We will work through issue based topics such as drugs and alcohol, relationships, health etc.
There will be a £5.00 registration fee, and weekly fee of £1.00

Thursday Night Drop In

For everyone in S4 upwards. run on a drop in basis, this club will provide a range of activities (sports, arts n crafts, internet, computers etc.) as well as providing career advice and support. Helping with job applications, job search, college application, CV building etc.
There will be a £5.00 registration fee, with £1.00 weekly fee



TO SIGN UP FOR ANY OF THESE CLUBS, YOUNG PEOPLE MUST ATTEND ONE OF THE SIGN UP NIGHTS TO BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY 9TH AND THURSDAY 10TH SEPTEMBER BETWEEN 6PM AND 9PM @ MCLAREN LEISURE CENTRE. IF UNDER 16 YEARS, A PARENT/GUARDIAN SHOULD ATTEND WITH YOU. ALL PERSONAL MEDICAL FORMS MUST BE COMPLETED ON THIS NIGHT, AND YEARLY FEE SHOULD BE PAID. YOUNG PEOPLE CAN ONLY TAKE PART IN CYP ACTIVITIES WHEN ALL OF THIS IS DONE.

CLUBS START IN THIS FORMAT WEEK BEGINING 14th SEPTEMBER 2009.
