I love you, and God loves you. We are here if you want answers, but if it's just an argument you're after, self satisfaction of winning an argument or convincing yourself that you're right then I have nothing more to say to you.
You hate Him for your sin, when it is you who causes you to sin, and He that tries to save you from it. You know nothing of mercy for you only know of dodging responsibility and dodging those who try to help you. Until you understand responsibility then you have no right to speak of what mercy is. I'm not saying this just to accuse you or to look down on you, but to give it to you should you choose to accept it. In the end it is your choice whether you are in life (Christ) and He in you, or death. God has simply known all things because He lives outside of it and sees it as done, He has not condemned you. If you choose death then you condemn yourself.
If a prisoner is given the death sentence, but he can get out of it if his father pays him out and his father is willing to do so, is the father considered unmerciful because he knows his death-sentenced son is stubborn and won't take the payment, but offers it anyway? If you know someone won't receive your gift, but you offer it anyway as it is your intention to give it to them, and they don't receive it, does that make you any less giving? He doesn't burn us; we cause ourselves to burn by our own choice. He doesn't force us to do anything. You don't force people to love you, to marry you, to be friends with you, why should He? Are you better than Him? Or is it that you don't want to take responsibility for your own actions, and thus you blame it on God even though He has given you the ability to step out of the fire?
He sacrificed Jesus to save us from Satan and from living a life of sin, not Himself. Now if some choose to turn away from God, which they have/do, He has shown them the truth and He has given us the choice to be with Him again. God is a fair judge. Everyone will have a choice, if you choose Satan after seeing the truth then God of course won't force you to be with Him. The idea is that God will have a people who will truly love Him, not just to have them despite knowing that if given the choice they will turn against Him. He gave us a perfect place to be and a perfect way to live, and we rejected it. We don't even deserve to live, but if we ask Him then He will be merciful. Mercy is not forcing someone to choose what's right, mercy is compassion for someone who has done what is wrong, to be kind and forgiving. God isn't going to forgive you if you don't want Him to.
Giving us a way out still isn't merciful because he knows that most people are going to die without taking it. Saving some people and choosing to burn the rest isn't merciful. Think about it: who did he sacrifice Jesus to save us from? Himself. It is still he who is burning people. That isn't mercy. It is unimaginable hate.
Also note that not only did God create man knowing he would sin, he did so knowing exactly what those sins would be, when they would take place and whether man would end up in Heaven or Hell. Therefore, he creates people knowing they are going to Hell. Again, is that mercy?
God created man in His own image. He told him what not to do, and man still did it, so yes He did create man knowing that he would sin. But because God is merciful, He sent Jesus to die on the cross to pay for our sin. Life must be payed for with death, eg, if you eat something, whatever you're eating has to die so you can live and not starve. If you accept God and turn away from sin then you will be saved. God is not responsible for the crimes we commit knowingly but He still took responsibility by paying for it, He gave us a way out. Yes He is loving and merciful. Those who go to Hell choose to do so.
i fall to my knees, i cry out to you for you are my great and almighty king, father you reign in me. i ask for your love to overflow over this city with your spiritual comfort and love. i allayna tyneil chase gives her heart to you i am a campous missionary, i will pray, live, serve, tell, and give all through Jesus Christ! <3
Here's an example of my main point (Alastair, if you're reading this look away now because I've said this to you about a dozen times without response); God is all-knowing, and he creates people. Therefore he creates people knowing they will go to Hell. Therefore he is neither loving or merciful, as he inflicts unimaginable pain on people for 'crimes' he is ultimately responsible for.
He can't come up with an answer, and that makes him angry. It means he doesn't have to actually think about it too hard. What a healthy way to channel one's stupidity!
"I dnt know if Jesus was real, you dnt know if Jesus is real" hannah I think you mean "God" we all know Jesus is 100% real-the bible is not the only book to mention, even those in the days of "Jesus being on earth" who did not believe he was the son of god mention him in ther books. Wat we dnt no is if he was the son of god or just some mad man. But he did exist.
Punani, are you capable of doing something over than regurgitating what passes for conversation in the Christian community?
If you're not going to engage with me, then don't address your comments to me. Otherwise you might as well have just written "Fuck you Pish Trousers" and be done with it.

It's not certain he existed. Personally I think he probably did, but there is no historical consensus that he lived.
