Received from Ps&Gs emerge group:
'Retreat in Daily Life' is starting on 1st April for 5
weeks for all Edinburgh city churches. Feedback from Ps&Gs
participants last Autumn included 'inspiring, 'supportive', 'a guide
who I felt I could be open with', 'I experienced a real sense of
God's love for me', 'flexible timing and structure', 'enriching', 'life-changing', 'very illuminating', 'being refreshed by God', 'having someone neutral who could ask questions of me', 'time to take a step back' etc.
If this appeals, and you would like the chance to take part in
an 'RDL', do think about signing up for this one by Easter.
Its open to all folk in Edinburgh at any point of the faith journey -
no special experience necessary! And if you've friends who are asking
spiritual questions but don't, for example, 'go to church', it is for
them too!

Dear friends
You may be interested to know that an augmented / ad hoc choir of around thirty (including eight organists…) will be singing a complete performance of John Stainer’s famous oratorio, The Crucifixion, as part of the evening service at Palmerston Place Church, Edinburgh (www.palmerstonplacechurch.com) on Palm Sunday. The choir will be conducted by Andrew Caskie and the organist will be Martyn Strachan.
The service starts at 6.30pm on Sunday 16 March. All are welcome to join us for this service of worship in song and Scripture at the start of Holy Week. Congregational participation in the wonderful hymns is a pre-requisite of attendance!
With best wishes
Andrew Caskie

Place, Edinburgh. An afternoon of reflection & prayer, for those who
want/need to take time out from the busyness of life, hosted & led by
members of the reflective prayer group at Ps & Gs.
Reflective Prayer seeks to provide a space to encounter God in the
midst of daily demands and to help make connections between prayer and
everyday life, using stillness, poetry, scripture, silence, music,
etc. We also aim to be a link to others working in Christian prayer
and spirituality that may resource our lives.
