Paris Reveals Christina's Secret
Paris Hilton is in Christina Aguilera’s bad books after she announced the singer’s pregnancy to a capacity crowd at LAX nightclub in Las Vegas, even though Christina was trying to keep it secret! Paris grabbed the mic in the club’s DJ booth and yelled: "Congratulations to the most beautiful pregnant woman in the world. You're gorgeous!” Christina looked shell-shocked but managed to smile when the entire crowd started clapping and cheering, including Mel B and Britney’s magician friend Criss Angel. Christina’s been hiding her baby bump under loose dresses, but now, thanks to Paris, the baby’s out of the bag!

Gwyneth & Chris To Split?
The rumour mill is buzzing with the shocking news that Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin could be headed for the divorce court. According to OK magazine, Gwyneth was very “vague and unenthusiastic” about her Coldplay singer husband during a recent conversation, and was “always quickly changing the topic to her kids Apple and Moses.” The eagle-eyed among you would have noticed that the pair hasn’t been seen together in months, prompting rumours that a split is imminent. Here’s hoping the notoriously publicity-shy couple are just lying low to avoid the paparazzi camped outside their north London home.


Britney Child Abuse Charges Dropped
Brtiney can breathe a sigh of relief with the news that she won’t face child abuse charges. The details of the case remain top secret, but it was said to revolve around fears that Britney’s non-stop partying was affecting her sons’ welfare. US magazines have reported that the singer puts fizzy drinks in their baby bottles and hands her kids to her bodyguards whenever they cry. But Britney's still gearing up for the custody battle of all custody battles - ex-hubby Kevin Federline recent filed for sole custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James; the first big court date in that hearing is set for September 14.

Brad: I'm Still Friends With Jen
Brad Pitt has said he is still close friends with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston. "Jen and I still maintain a deep friendship and have a lot of life together that isn't erased in any way," Brad said. The couple split in January 2005, just three months before Brad went public with his relationship with Angelina Jolie. But Brad defends his actions, saying: "I don't know how better to have handled [the split]. The thing guiding me then was, you don't know how many days you have, and you need life to be everything you need it to be." Brad and Ange now have four kids, with plans in the works to adopt a fifth child, a girl.

Jude Law Arrested
Jude Law has surrendered to police after allegedly beating up a photographer outside his London home. The unnamed snapper, who claims Jude punched him in the face and kicked him to the ground, said: "I was at a bus stop near Jude's house but I wasn't taking pictures of him... He was by himself when he recognised me and started accusing me of being a paedophile and that all I wanted to do was take pictures of his children.” A police spokesperson confirmed: "A 34-year-old man from Maida Vale was arrested yesterday on suspicion of actual bodily harm after voluntarily attending a London police station." The Alfie star was released on bail.

Halle Berry Is Pregnant
Halle Berry, 41, is expecting her first child. "Yes, I am three months pregnant," the Oscar winner told reporters in the US. "Gabriel and I are beyond excited and I've waited a long time for this moment in my life." Her boyfriend is 32-year-old model Gabriel Aubry, who she met while shooting a Versace ad in Los Angeles in 2005. Halle has often spoken about her desire to be a mum but, after two failed marriages, don’t expect her to walk down the aisle soon: “I will never, never get married again. I've come to a place where I think two people can share their lives without the ring, without the piece of paper," she said.

Galliano pulled out all the stops for his couture show for Dior, and some are saying this is his best collection to date, what do you think?. CHRISTIAN DIOR HAUTE COUTURE
MARIE ANTOINETTE herself would have delighted in watching the visual feast showcased by John Galliano at the Orangerie of her former home, Versailles. In a line-up featuring more super-supers than George Michael's Freedom video, Galliano celebrated his tenth anniversary as Christian Dior's creative director (which coincided neatly with the house's 60th) with a decadent smorgasbord of rich silks, puffed tulles, scented flowers, enormous crystals and tiny corsets. The shoes - exquisite and no doubt painful - deserve a paragraph in their own right. Concave heels on vertiginous platforms with square block toes were covered in dyed satin, smacking of a bizarre mix between ballerinas and Geishas. The show's theme? Pretty impossible to sum up in just a few words: over 500 year's worth of painters were represented through each of the 45 ornate and intricately constructed gowns. Galliano's Latin roots were heavily emphasised with the use of mantillas, black lace tiered skirts and matador shaped hats (care of Stephen Jones), not to mention the blue and gilt matador's suit the designer wore to take his bow and the Spanish paella served in the palace's grounds afterwards. Gisele Bunchen opened in a black wasp-waisted, hip-padded jacket and pencil skirt - an homage to Mr. Dior's New Look "Bar" suit of 1947. Next, Raquel Zimmermann sported an ivory circle-hemmed dress, bringing to mind the monochrome photographs taken during the Forties by Irving Penn. Then came the colour. Like the artists he evoked in his creations, Galliano picked up his paintbrush and scattered a palette of lavish, dreamy shades onto every square inch of this sensational and mind-blowing collection. Linda Evangelista, newly red-headed, glided down the catwalk in ruby embellished crinoline inspired by a Carravaggio work of art. Naomi Campbell played the pre-Raphaelite muse in a silver Grecian tiara and muted pink gown tinged with more silver. Stella Tennant, regal as ever in stature, evoked an El Greco painting in swathes of bright burgundy topped off with a black lace Spanish headpiece. Lily Cole, whose flame locks were covered in diamond stars and whose eyelashes were extended by a good 15 centimetres for the occasion, wore a violet creation inspired by Tiepolo. Shalom Harlow ended the couture fantasy, closing the show in a Michaelangelo-inspired emerald and silver embroidered gown. These were sophisticated, structured clothes, modelled predominantly by grown-up women, with the sexy curves to do each creation justice. The standing ovation greeting John Galliano as he took his bow was more than deserved: this was a feat of pure fashion genius. (July 2 2007, PM)
