Next big gig at The Ark is with Belfast musicianary rockers Bluetree! This is an all age event that is particularly aimed at young people, youth groups, and young people on the fringes of the church who need to know that God is relevant to their lives.
Bluetree is all about being unique in a world that often reveres conformity. “If you’re in a forest and there’s nothing but green trees —everything being as you’d normally see it—but then you see a blue tree with blue bark, blue leaves, blue branches, well, it would catch your eye,” Boyd says. “And as Christians we’re called to stand out, to be different—like blue trees.”
Come along and enjoy the amazing ministry of these guys here at The Ark on Sunday 14th June 2009, from 7pm. Oh, and another nice surprise is that entry is FREE! However, we have a limited capacity so you have to get here early!

Hey peeps, we're going to Frenzy this year and guess who we're bringing back to The Ark the day after? YFRIDAY! This is another joint event with DTalks, a monthly Christian youth event in the Shire. And the gig is totally free! However, entry is on a first come first served basis and there's only about 150 spaces to go - so make sure you come early. thebandwithnoname is coming to the ark on saturday 15th december. the night is open to all ages and is £7 for tickets bought in advance from www.ayrark.co.uk or £8 on the night. undefeated is also supporting.

Well technically I don't have a youth group yet but I have been recommending it to them and I do believe at least some will be in attendance.
