This morning my mother passed away. She had been sick for a long time, but still. I wasn't expecting it right this moment. Please take every opportunity to live your life, take the high road, tell people you love them, mend fences.

I wish...I had not burdened my mom with information about Luke and I having a hard time. But I'm so glad...that I confided in my mom and she was so supportive.

So...I had a talk and told Luke that we had a lot to work on, he still wasn't willing to go to a couples counselor, and I said I wanted to try a separation. He went off the deep end sort of and I ended up staying last night. I said I'd stay for just the night and we'd work on getting a counselor, defining what was and wasn't ok, that kind of thing. Then this morning my dad called me. Was it some kind of message? My irreverant brother says, "Yeah, but it could go either way." He's such a smart ass! Still don't have what I would call a definitive answer but I shall be doing a bit of thinking/research this week.

Off topic, I had a bit of pride in the fact that out of 5 kids, I'm the one my dad talked to first. I know that sounds stupid but it made me happy that I could be there for him.

I'm off to bed for another good cry. Thanks to Vicki for really being there for me this morning. Luff ya girl!

I think tonight I'm possibly separating from my husband. We've been married almost 10 years and together close to 13. It's sad.
